My GF is using biteSMS, and for some reason it double-sends a lot of her messages. Why would that be?
Right, my mum has a jailbroken iPod touch 2g, the iOS version its on is ancient and she recently had to reinstall the Ebay app because its a piece of shit and won't do something as simple as allow you to enter your new password. Anyway, the version on the app store requires a far newer version of iOS and won't install. Is there any way I can get an old version of this app and sideload it?
Try this. Apparently the Back to School promo might be starting tomorrow. Actually kinda bummed that I got my MBA so early instead of waiting for a bit. If it does, I'm gonna shoot Apple an email. No harm in trying.
£70 gift card, mmmmmm
Pepper;41266329']Try this. http://www.mediafly.com/resources/instructions-side-load-iphone-apps
Managed to get the job done with filezilla & installous.
And the back to school promo is actually on now. Shot support an email, fingers crossed.
a £70 gift card, pfft, i want a fucking ipod
Seeing as I've had my 4S for coming up on 2 year and may very well upgrade to whatever iPhone update is released next, I've decided to go for a jailbreak for the first time. I think I can handle it myself but I had no idea how much shit there was to look over. I'm guessing this "evasion" is a solid way of going about it? [editline]2nd July 2013[/editline]
And the back to school promo is actually on now. Shot support an email, fingers crossed.
I bought an MBP about a year ago right before the Ivy Bridge update and they actually agreed to swap mine out with a new one for no charge. I hope you get yourself a good deal as well! [editline]2nd July 2013[/editline] Except I guess you can neither jailbreak nor downgrade 6.1.3 on a 4S. WELL SHIT. Maybe I'll go for ios 7.
You have nothing to lose by trying iOS 7.
You have nothing to lose by trying iOS 7.
Is there a legal way to get it for free? I'll be getting a developer's license by the end of the summer but I don't really want to wait that long.
Is there a legal way to get it for free? I'll be getting a developer's license by the end of the summer but I don't really want to wait that long.
Download it from a site or torrent and just install it as an update.
Install beta 1 then use OTA to get beta 2.
bear in mind apple store do not take kindly to it, they will not service your phone (even if you're a dev!) and employees can lose their jobs by having it installed without being a dev, or for showing it to customers on the shop floor.

I went into a phone shop the other day as my friend was sorting his plan out and the employees were talking about it and I showed them it, suddenly I was surrounded D:
It literally took this Kickstarter for me to realize that whipping the connector upwards pretty much instantly disconnects your charger.
I just got access to the iWork for iCloud suite. It's pretty nice. They replaced that fabric texture in the iWork apps, although not in the main iCloud background yet. It's called beta for a reason, most likely Skype hasn't been updated to work with iOS 7 yet, they'll have it stable near its release

Smart. Wonder how long until Apple buys it and it becomes an officially-licensed accessory?
It's called beta for a reason, most likely Skype hasn't updated it to work with iOS 7 yet, they'll have it stable near its release
I'm very aware it's a beta. I just asked if it was crashing for anyone else to confirm.
Having Parallels hooked up to my bootcamp install is seriously the best thing ever.
I'm very aware it's a beta. I just asked if it was crashing for anyone else to confirm.
Yup. It is crashing in conferences, chats are working fine. Also, PvZ is crashing too D:
Install beta 1 then use OTA to get beta 2.
That ended up working real well, thanks. This is pretty nice. I sometimes unlock just to play with the parallax.
Oh, that's a cool thing... Smart.
I got that email!
Cool but I'm not even an Apple developer so I've never seen that agreement and thus can not have agreed to its terms.
Cool but I'm not even an Apple developer so I've never seen that agreement and thus can not have agreed to its terms.
same lol [editline]4th July 2013[/editline] btw can anyone here recommend a decent bluetooth mouse for a mac?
How unfortunate, my MBP's charger cable died and: It seems to break every year/month for quite a lot of people, and Apple doesn't allow third-parties to make chargers for their products.

when you pay £1,400 for a computer, you would at least expect a reasonably priced charger, or a decent returns system

I used zip ties on the ends and now it holds way better. Also, you can actually buy third-party chargers. But they ruin the battery because of their poor quality.
