http://appleinsider.com/articles/13/07/11/new-deux-ex-for-ios-hobbles-gameplay-if-device-is-jailbroken > Square Enix notes that iPad 2 and iPhone 4 support is coming soon. Here is the answer.
not like iPad 2 support will be hard, it's checking a flag in the "devices supported" setting :/
Adapting the game, so it would look good on lower spec devices? (in iPad 2 case - adapting for non-Retina big screen. Yes, this can take some time)
...it runs on the iPad mini... which is an iPad 2 but smaller...
Well, I thought iPad 2 had a diffirent resolution, dunno why D:
Cross post from Quick Questions Does anyone here have the 2013 Macbook Air? I'm thinking about getting one. Agree - Good Idea Disagree - Get something else I'm looking for Lightweight, portable, great battery.

The battery lasts me an entire day with average use so it's out the door without a charger, come home and put it on the charger. I love it.
What about a Retina Macbook Pro refresh? It's due for one soon?
There's already benchmark leaks on web bench sites. It's gonna be a fine laptop indeed.
What about a Retina Macbook Pro refresh? It's due for one soon?
October I'd imagine.
and here's me nervous as fuck waiting to buy a cMBP
Gonna be deciding on whether to get a top spec Thinkpad or a new MBP once it gets a refresh, humph. On one hand, I get fantastic durability and better linux support with a thinkpad, but with the macbook I get really good overall quality and a fantastic panel (+ cost at the same time). Definitely won't be sticking with OSX so that doesn't matter how does the retina perform outside of OSX?
I heard linux doesn't do very well in retina screens.
more of a problem with the Xorg-server.
more of a problem with the Xorg-server.
What kind of problems arise? [editline]14th July 2013[/editline] If they're serious problems them I'm definitely gonna have to skip on the MBP, which is a shame :(

[editline]14th July 2013[/editline] If they're serious problems them I'm definitely gonna have to skip on the MBP, which is a shame :(
Just so you know, I have not installed GNU/Linux on any Macbook myself, so I can't speak from personal experience. By the time of writing this, most GNU/Linux distributions out there rely on Xorg and the X11 protocol to establish a Graphical environment. Xorg is the Display server which is installed on the GNU/Linux distros, which implements the X11 protocol. The X11 Protocol has been established in 1987 and isn't exactly up-to-date with today's needs. Xorg and the X11 Protocol aren't really that efficient in what they are trying to achieve. and from a Dev's perspective it's a real clusterfuck. Luckily there are alternatives on the way. The first one being Wayland, which is meant to be a successor to Xorg and the X11 Protocol. Wayland focuses on today's needs, and is a more efficient implementation of a graphical interface. And the other one being Mir, which is developed by canonical(The guys behind ubuntu). The new Macbook pro retina refresh shouldn't have a real problem with the resolution tough, even with Xorg. Since the refresh uses Haswell processors, and the Intel-5200 "iris" GPU, is quite performant for an integrated GPU, it should cope well with the resolution. One thing that needs to be configured tough is the DPI scaling, which you may have to do manually. And depending on what distribution you use, you may have to install the wireless firmware manually. For more things to consider and to watch out for, consult the Arch-Wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MacBookPro_Retina [editline]15th July 2013[/editline] Also, the choice of your Desktop environment (KDE, Gnome, xfce, etc...) directly affects the performance aswell.
Looking for a mouse made for the hand and not Steve jobs soap bar, what d
Looking for a mouse made for the hand and not Steve jobs soap bar, what d
what?
My Mighty Mouse doesn't feel like something designed for the hand, was making a joke about how Steve was so weird about design and how it's basically abated of soap. Blue tooth is preferable. On the other side of things, is it a good idea to hook up my fcp7 scratch disk to my router and just render that shit wirelessly?

If there would be anything serious that would make the Macbook retina unviable for running GNU/Linux, it would have been noted on the Arch-Wiki
So I'm trying to transfer music from my new PC to my Iphone and remove some old songs, but iTunes wont let me do it. Apperently I have to synchronize my music or some shit. But when I press synchronize this warning comes up saying that it will remove all the songs I have on my iPhone now and replace them with the ones in my itunes library. But I don't have any songs in my library. What do I do?

What music are you trying to transfer if your library is empty? You're going to have to do music management with iTunes. When you sync with your new library it's going to clear out all the music on your phone and put the tracks you select from iTunes.
Fuck I'm confused as well. Guess I'll just have to use bridge and manually transfer everything then
Looking for a mouse made for the hand and not Steve jobs soap bar, what d
Logitech Performance MX. Bit expensive, but if made for the hand is what you want, that is the mouse for you.

Currently thinking of getting a rMBP but after testing it at a local store... will get the UI lag better with mavericks? Jesus fuck is that thing laggy.
Currently thinking of getting a rMBP but after testing it at a local store... will get the UI lag better with mavericks? Jesus fuck is that thing laggy.
If you use Quartz Debug and check framerates it's usually around 55-60 so I think you're overstating how much it "lags". The biggest issues are very intensive webpages like Facebook, and even then they keep at about 47fps with the newest versions of webkit. Seeing that improvement with web framerates, I would assume it would increase in Mavericks, but it wont necessarily keep at 60fps all the time.
