Probably around 3-4 months. Straight up bought a broken iPhone, fixed it up, and threw the old Windows Phone at my sister who bought an even shittier Palm Pre. (Against my recommendations of an iPhone, which of course, she now owns and is happy with.)
Oh, well I did well lasting a year and a month on it, the first lumia i had had a major screen calibration issue where the left side of the screen wouldn't recognize touch, sent it to my telco and got a replacement, the battery is deteriorating and I've had numerous screen issues + extreme overheating during calls

Carrier was giving it for free on a 2 year term, with $15 off your bill every month just to get rid of the awful things. Swapped it for a Galaxy S I bought and got to keep the discount.
My first smartphone was, and is, an iPhone 4S. $100 on contract, which is up for renewal in... About a year. I hate telco contracts.

Well, my father said I'm free to have his iPhone 4S after his contract ends in November if my mother doesn't want it (which is pretty likely). How easy are iPhones to unlock?

i saw a trailer for the movie coming out soon about Steve Jobs http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2357129/ what do you guys think
Woz said the one trailer of Steve talking with him was completely and utterly wrong, and it got bad reviews, I'll pass.
I get the feeling Aston Kutcher would paint Jobs as some kind of god at every corner, but I dunno. I don't think he fits the part at all.

Don't we all?
Not really. I'm happy with my MBP 15".
I want a 21 inch MacBook Air.
I have a 21" laptop and it's a complete fucker to carry around, no you don't.
I want a 48 inch, 4k resolution MacBook Air.

A TV. A computer. Both. Presenting the new Macbook Air 48.
Still no 6.1.3 jailbreak, I presume? :eng99:
http://jailbrea.kr says no
Still no 6.1.3 jailbreak, I presume? :eng99:
It's never going to exist.
The iOS 7 betas are full of holes, though, so unless Apple gets scary-vigilant, we should have a jailbreak available the week of launch.
Your iDevice liquifies if Cydia is installed.
Bit late on this, but Pirates of Silicon Valley is a good film that prominently features Apple.
I know it's made the wireless on my iPad Mini scary-unstable since I jailbroke it... Not sure what would cause that, but I'll probably end up throwing a 7 beta on it sometime next week.
I've been syncing my iPhone with the PC until I got a laptop, and now I have a problem - how can I sync with my iTunes on a new laptop without fucking loosing all my data on iPhone?

What I do when I reformat and have to redo my stuff, is I put all my music back in my library, make a backup of my iPad so I can restore apps and data, and then do the restore from that library while just re checking all the music I need synced.
