linux is closer to OSX than windows is, by the way. a lot closer
Especially due to the fact they both run Unix
as close as two cosplayers dressed as the same anime
there's probably a website dedicated to cosplaying as various *nix distributions, i guarantee it

sort of, osx runs on bsd which is a unix distribution. linux is a unix-like kernel which is functionally pretty much the same as unix.

GNU/Linux is not unix (GNU = GNU's Not UNIX)
it's UNIX like and implements the same principles.
There wasn't really much point in snipping it, it's still in the above post
Which is why I also reported your post.

It only works with plain text, not when it's encoded through vbulletin
Which is why I also reported your post.
Y so srs? It's not like I sent it in a text to your mom's iPhone
Y so srs? It's not like I sent it in a text to your mom's iPhone
I thought it crashed users regardless of what it's formatted by, but if it doesn't crash users when formatted by VBulletin, I guess i'm sorry.
It'll get fixed soon anyway once people start crashing phones in Apple stores and sending the forbidden characters to Apple themselves
When's the release date for the iphone 6?
Most we've seen thus far points to a 5s, to be announced on september 10th and a possible release around the 20th.

I wish we had a good RDP server for Mac OS. Using VNC just makes me sad.

like I said, it's a two-sided coin :v:
Is there a way to use my current keyboard and mouse with my Mac mini that also lets me switch between monitor video inputs easily? I've got Synergy set up on both but I still have to switch manually from DVI to VGA and back manually, which is a bit of a pain.
Two-input KVM switch?

When are the Haswell macbook pros coming out? the 10th as well?
When are the Haswell macbook pros coming out? the 10th as well?
That'd probably be October. Sone people would say Haswell doesn't matter because there aren't really any performance improvements, but any battery increase is nice and they'll definitely move to PCI-E storage so you'll get those awesome I/O speeds from the MBA.

Oh GOD, they're awesome.
