So will there be a livestream to watch the event?
I'd think Apple would do their own, but it might be restricted to darwin based devices.
I'd think Apple would do their own, but it might be restricted to darwin based devices.
I got a Macbook so I think I'll be fine.
wait what's this about ios7 users having to reset their devices when the update hits? I'm using ios 7 on my ipad 2 right now, I hit shift and clicked update and installed it that way. Can't I just update it through the software update on my iPad?

Apple providing no live stream? Where are you guys getting your information?
Apple providing no live stream? Where are you guys getting your information?
http://www.macrumors.com/2013/09/10/live-coverage-of-apples-2013-iphone-media-event/ Whole bunch of streams listed here. Anyways, I'm just about prepared for this thread to start blowing up soon.
I'd think Apple would do their own, but it might be restricted to darwin based devices.
i never really got why they do this. isn't the point of these conferences to gain interest from non apple users and share holders?
Anyways, I'm just about prepared for this thread to start blowing up soon.
Yup, same. The store has closed
i see live blogs, not streams
So it is, my reading comprehension is taking another hit. [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] Not that bad that there isn't a stream. The rain is pounding down on my window so hard I probably wouldn't even be able to hear anything.
isn't the point of these conferences to gain interest from non apple users and share holders?
AAPL's going to get absolutely lashed no matter what - I'm guessing institutional investors (and the lively little sparks behind them) make up the majority of ownership now.
"Virtually overnight, hundreds of millions of people [will] download iOS 7." Heh, good one.
hail stebe
iOS7 on september 18th. RIP Apple servers. [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] Let's talk iPhone, bring it! [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] 5C, there we go! [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] Wow, those silicon cases for the 5c look ugly.
if i wanted my phone to be colorful i'd put an external case on it
Fucking hell that 5C case is ugly. Seriously, what?
That case. Ew
with the price & colour i assume it's aimed at a younger audience
Maybe we can have the off-contract price too Apple?
Maybe we can have the off-contract price too Apple?
I am gonna assume that the iPhone 5S will cost ~1000$ off contract in switzerland.
Jesus fuck I get to curse SOX once again - who would've guessed (save for a Droid-owning cynic) Apple would begin bundling on their iDevices as well?
Ring around the home button? The rumors of a fingerprint sensor are true? Unless it's just a redesign, that'd be lame.
Ooh - no printed inlay on the 5S's home button. [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] Does ARM have any IP with a 64-bit ISA?
Space gray? waht
I'm more shocked that the gaudy gold hasn't hung you up yet
It's "up to twice as fast" as the previous-gen system, and has twice the graphics performance as well.
wee
