So I was wondering, the iPod classic in the UK at least is gimped and really quiet, is there any way to restore it but download the american firmware so it's louder? I'm asking mainly because I've been offered a 120gb iPod classic for £20

So the 5C is 100 dollars cheaper than the 5S off contract which is probably going to end up as 100 euros. Might as well go for a 4S or try second-hand places.

Just read if you go in to iPod_control and delete something called _volumelock then it returns to it's normal outside-of-eu volume is this BS or?

I have to admit I am somewhat confused, considering the iPod Touch 5 shows Apple has no issues having anodized aluminum in many colors. The 5 is still the fastest phone on the market GPU wise, everyone is so behind Apple and IMG tech that it's depressing.

Plastic is so much easier to crack, scratch, and otherwise become very unsightly after some time. Apple's been doing dyed anodized aluminum for years, why not just do that?

It's why I recommend people get the white model.

I can't install the GM because it needs iTunes 11.1 which is OS X only. This is depressing. [editline]10th September 2013[/editline] I'm retarded, it says I can't sync with iTunes which I was aware would happen, I misread. The GM is still a stutterbug on my mini in many areas. Apple needs to delay this on tablets, it's not ready and they're not going to have this fixed in a week.

I always thought that with fingerprint technologies there'd be a spike in finger thefts. Also Apple got rid of the little rectangle on the iPhone 5S home button. Also if you look at [URL="http://www.apple.com/iphone-5s/features/"]this page[/URL] on Chrome the iPhones are like jumping around if you're using a mouse wheel.

I'm not sure why they kept the passwords if they introduced a fingerprint scanner. Why not just offer "Fingerprint Lock"?

Failsafe for when the passwords don't work? Maybe if you don't want biometric scanning turned on?
