iOS7 isn't installing on either iPad Mini or iPad 3's, the servers must be overflowing
I checked for updates at 1:00 on the dot, and wasn't able to download it in a timely manner. Don't bother with it right now, it'll just contribute to the problem. Wait a bit.
Mine said 7 minutes, it's at around 80% done but is stuck at "Preparing Update...."
Okay it says 20 minutes remaining on the iPad 3rd generation
'An error occurred downloading iOS 7.0' why
its happening to me too dw
Woo, just finished installing!
They just replaced my iPad for free, because it didn't appear to have damage that a drop would give despite me outright admitting it got dropped. This is like...wow. Even when I offer to pay because I messed up and need to use an Applecare+ replacement. So why even have Applecare, unless you run it over with your car or put it in the tub they wont care.
So I'm sitting here trying to download 6.1.3 because apparently the signing window is still open and I want a jailbreak, which one is probably going to be released soon. And the download gets about halfway before the servers break and the download "finishes" prematurely.
Loving ios 7, just a few questions. 1.) Can I still look at my voicemails? It just calls my voicemail whenever I click it 2.)Why are all the favorites in my Safari Japanese?
Downloading iOS 7 it's been stuck at Preparing update for ages. Should I leave it be or intervene in some way?
I wouldn't bother trying to download it right now, everybody is trying to get it and it's flogging apples servers.
I got lucky and my update downloaded and worked on the first try. v:v:v
Oh it looks like the little progress bar is actually moving on the install, albeit very slowly.
New ringtones!
New ringtones!
They are really good. [editline]18th September 2013[/editline] iOS 7 already has 15% device share. That's pretty impressive.
iOS 7 is really slick, I really like the new icons.
Why? Because Lemaitre is fucking awesome, that's why.
Can anyone confirm or deny iOS 7 similarities with Android? There's been a battle raging between Android and Iphone users on my twitter feed and I was curious for an opinion from someone who's used it.
The biggest I've heard is that the font is a ripoff. Too bad roboto is actually a ripoff of helvetica, so it's the other way around. I challenge anyone to make a legit prior art claim relating to Android. The multitasking goes back to WP8, which goes back to WP7, which goes back to webOS. The apps are honestly their own thing, I don't see how they can be called copies. I just don't see it, it really seems like it's just Android users who are upset that everyone is talking about getting updates, something they probably know nothing about.
I wish I could download ios7 but I cannot use a device without f.lux anymore, and due to Apple's strick appstore policies, it's jailbreak only.
I've never used f.lux because my monitors are all D6500 and my iPads have all been in what looks like the 6500-7000K range
IOS 7 is pretty nice, I wish we could customize it some more, iMessage looks horrible on my black Iphone, other than a few bad style ideas IOS7 is great.

I often take my laptop to places with a huge variety of light temperature, so it's pretty impractical. I was quoted saying "WHAT IS THIS YELLOW SHIT" last week when I borrowed my friend's laptop.

Just a few things look a bit androidish.
Here's a neat graph. https://mixpanel.com/trends/#report/ios_7
I'm loving iOS 7, I had it downloaded in 25 minutes and installed in 30.
Sucks that IOS 7 won't come to the iPod Touch 4th gen.
Not really. I'm messing with an iPhone 5 running it and some areas previously at 60fps have degraded. Do you really want the touch 4 which has been sub par since iOS 5 to have to run an OS that can't keep at 60fps on an iPhone 5? I know I wouldn't. Edit: I take it back, a reboot fixed it for some reason. The one issue I've found is scrolling in the settings app wallpaper selector.
Is there a way to stop iOS7 upgrading all together? I really do not want to explain to my parents how things work in the update.
