So I can get a new iPhone 4S for ~£150 or get a new 5S for £450. What should I go for?
The latter, consider it an investment since you're going to be able to keep that phone for 3+ years.
So I can get a new iPhone 4S for ~£150 or get a new 5S for £450. What should I go for?
£200 savings on a 4S is nice, but the 5S will last you longer in terms of when you'll next want to upgrade, and it's still a neat £100 saving.
Yeah, so train your dog and give him chew toys or end up with a dog that'll chew whatever the fuck it wants. And maybe stop leaving cables where the dog can access them. And give him less free reign in the house. Close some doors too.

Pepper;42335007']Give the puppy something else to chew on.
I asked for help fortifying the cable not smart assed replies from neckbeards who have never trained a shiba
why are you asking for dog training help in a hardware and software thread [editline]28th September 2013[/editline] 'neckbeard'
I asked for help fortifying the cable not smart assed replies from neckbeards who have never trained a shiba
1, That will stop it from chewing your lead 2, i don't even have a beard 3, i have a dog too actually
I asked for help fortifying the cable not smart assed replies from neckbeards who have never trained a shiba
Wrapping duct tape around a cable won't solve your problem, but whatever. Enjoy your misbehaving dog. e: by the sounds of it you've never trained one either :)
I asked for help fortifying the cable not smart assed replies from neckbeards who have never trained a shiba
Man, you're ~Edgy~.
I asked for help fortifying the cable not smart assed replies from neckbeards who have never trained a shiba
As a fellow dog owner who has a dog that chews on things, although thankfully not my cables, I think I might have a solution. To keep our poodle from chewing on things, we spray them with Bitter Apple spray. Dogs can't stand the taste or smell of the stuff, so they don't chew it. It's worked for us, keeps her from biting the furniture. http://www.petsmart.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2754400 Also, you can get some of that corrugated wire pipe they sell at Home Depot or similar, and run your cable through that. It won't be as portable, but it'll give some sort of defense against chewing. Wouldn't hurt to wrap up your cables when you're not using them, though.
Anybody else's Google Chrome doing this recently? Running v31 Dev on 10.8.4
These things happen when you run dev builds
Funnily enough, I do have an issue with Chrome squishing my toolbar bookmarks together.
So I just updated my ipad to Ios7 what the fuck is this piece of shit

Any way to get the old look back?
Any way to get the old look back?
no
Even the most technically ignorant people I know knew about the changed UI and it's indicated in the patch notes. Kinda your fault for just clicking update blindly, and unfortunately the signing window is closed. If you'd updated back on the 20th you would have had a chance to revert to 6.1.3. Maybe someone will make a legacy styled theme after it gets jailbroken.
I don't see why you'd completely want to go back to the old theme. It's very dated, but the new theme does have its flaws
Any way to get the old look back?
Nope... Unless you saved your Blobs, you're screwed. Have fun with iOS 7!
Nope... Unless you saved your Blobs, you're screwed. Have fun with iOS 7!
Blobs haven't event worked on recent devices since the A5 came out anyway. So that really only applies to the 4 now because it's the only older iOS 7 device.
I am sure someone will make an iOS 6 winterboard theme for iOS 7 devices once iOS7 can be jailbroken
Just ordered an iPhone 5S and it should come in 2-3 Days, I can't wait
what color? gold is for the cool kids
"Just" the "Space grey" one. I actually had a hard time deciding between black and white. But since there is only one vendor who currently sells iphones (http://digitec.ch/), if you exclude the people who went to germany and france to import them. And the only seller currently provides only the black one, so I figured, "why not?". it was somewhat expensive tough (~900$) but nowhere near the $$$ the importers sell (1700$ - 2500$). There are only a handful of 5S in Switzerland, and I'm gonna be one of the first ~100 people who have one here. Also, funny note: When I ordered it, I managed to order one of the last ones. And now the next shipment will be around 15 - 20 October. [editline]1st October 2013[/editline]
what color? gold is for the cool kids
Also, IMO gold is a bit too girly for me :v:
Anybody have a fix for my MBA's rather abysmal shutting down times? Even shutting down from the login screen often takes around 20 seconds.
I'm gonna sound real stupid, but what do you do when you make two accounts, and forget the password for the other one? I run a 10.6.8 and I need help quickly!
So I replaced the screen in my girlfriends 4th gen iTouch and now its white, it was perfectly fine when i was testing it but as soon as I put it all together it's just white. I've done the home + sleep button along with the volume up button being pressed along with a restore but nothing is working.

Is it worth it to upgrade from a 4S to a 5S? I can trade in my 4S for $200 and then use Verizons edge program.
