Nothing, it starts in 15 minutes.
Yeah I realized that when I went to macRumors. DLing QuickTime now.
This is a good liveblog

Ho-lee-shit those Mac margins must be massive if they're tossing upgrade prices.
[editline]22nd October 2013[/editline]
And - wahey! - a mid '07 aluminum iMac will still get to run the latest-and-greatest.
So many new products today!
Wait so did Mavericks get a release date?
Wait so did Mavericks get a release date?
Today
The Pages posters examples must be giving Apple's design folks reason to twitch - certainly not selling whiz-bang magic, either.

How much is it, 20$ like ML?
How much is it, 20$ like ML?
Free.
[editline]22nd October 2013[/editline]
And Cook's just clarified that future upgrades'll be free as well. I suppose that's my OS 11 dreams fluttering away.
RIP Apple servers
iPad // Forever, apparently.
[editline]22nd October 2013[/editline]
A7 with *both* a process shrink and a little clock-pushing, perhaps?

iPad 2 will never leave, its used in so many educational and professional uses.

I live nowhere, sadly, near a future world like that that Apple can distill into a back-patting video.
DPI on the new iPad mini must be through the roof, though - must compare absurdly well; I can't wait for hackers to get their hands on the panels and welcome myopia into their lives.
iPad Air? That's it. Fuck this. Selling my Mac, getting a username change so I can change it to Zune.
I like that Mavericks is free. iWork being free would've been nice earlier.
I like that Mavericks is free. iWork being free would've been nice earlier.
Hell, it IS something. I won't complain if one thing is free instead of everythig. I take everything I can get.
I like that Mavericks is free. iWork being free would've been nice earlier.
iWork is free now? Cool. Now maybe a Mac will be worth the price of admission to a lot of people, just to have this one time fee and you get all this neat other shit for free.
(User was permabanned for this post ("Alt of mystlight" - Orkel))
I imagine that's going to compel quite a few more people to get their shiny new toys returned - four years and counting for the iPod classic, though.
Would've been nice for iWork to have been free 2 months ago before I bought an Office 365 subscription
Maybe I misread, but I'm pretty sure that they made iWork free as well
"would've been nice earlier"
Quick Summation:
OSX 10.9 today,
MacBook Pro Retina update, faster, longer battery life, 200$ less entry cost
MacPro: 3000$, January
iLife and iWork, all updated for iOS/OSX, all 64 bit where applicable
iPad Air: 499$, new ipad, crazy light, fast, new lte, new wifi, just new stuff
iPad Mini with Retina: 399$, mini but retina
iPad Mini: 100$ price cut
"would've been nice earlier"
Yes, I misread his post
Having the old mini at $299 (and the ipad 2 at $399 for that matter) is completely retarded. A $30 price drop on a year old product (with even older internals) is just insane. I realize android isn't for everyone (I don't even own an android device), but the new nexus 7 is just a ludicrously good deal compared to basically everything on the market right now.
And what's up with the "Air" name? They never were consistent with the ipad names, but 5 would very much have sufficed.

And they removed the 15 inch normal MBP.
