What the hell? That i7 is going to be bottlenecked like hell by the 9600GT. [editline]25th October 2010[/editline] If you're just gaming I would get an i5 or a Phenom II X4 to afford a better GPU.
Bottleneck works the otherway. It means that processor can't supply enough information to Graphics card which makes the graphic card process slower than what it actually can. And that ain't the situation here.

Currently my CPU bottlenecks my GPU. When I play any source game, I have 60 FPS on the GPU end, but still some lag. That's my current situation.
Go with an 1156 socket, the 9600gt is way behind the times now.

Yeah, I´m probably getting one for christmas. And if I don't, I´ll have enough money by then. But not now. And I´m getting a CPU and MoBo that'll probably work for some years.[/QUOTE] [editline]25th October 2010[/editline] And by the way, it´s already ordered.
ITT: OP creates a topic about the components he already bought
Yeah, but I kinda got worried when I realized it. And, it hasn't been delivered yet. So it's always possible to "un"order.
