OP, if you want a case around $150 get the NZXT Phantom, I heard it's going to be released sometime in August.
:psyduck:
Why would you want to do this?
Lol, nzxt is an aquired taste.
Any one up for a vote?
I'm fairly low on moneys, but I'm still deciding on a cpu cooler.
Preferably i'd like one to include red and black, but i can always paint fans ect.
I was looking at the coolermaster v6gt, but it's not out yet, idk.
There are other like the Titan fenrir https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Fans,+Heatsinks,+Coolers/CPU+Coolers/Titan+Fenrir+Special+Edition+CPU+Cooler+(Socket+AM2/LGA775/LGA1156/LGA1366)+?productId=40704
and the thermaltake frio https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Fans,+Heatsinks,+Coolers/CPU+Coolers/Thermaltake+Frio+CPU+Cooler+(Socket+AM2/AM3/LGA775/LGA1156/LGA1366)+?productId=41063
, but i still dont know what to get.
If you guys can find a nice looking one for a good price, i'll consider it, try to find one that has good am3 support & good reviews.
If you want to help that is, otherwise, sit tight while i browse the market for ages.
lol
I think the Frio would be better just because it has an extra fan. The other looks kinda flashy and only has one fan. Although it is louder, but it does have faster fans than the Fenrir. I'd say out of the two just go with the Frio.

Okays, thanks, Yeah, I see it is better in that respect.
I personally thing the fenrir is a little flashy too.
What's annoying is the fact that it's going to cover my ram slots though.
(both of them are likely to)
Which makes me sadface
Just bought a cpu cooler, and an optical drive.
Expect an update possibly next week.
Looking forward too it.
This Build looks nice, Looking forward to an update.

The cpu cooler came on friday before i left.
It is HUGE. But really nice, ill get that installed on tuesday with some pics, following that ill run a temp test :).
Then i just have cable braid left to get.
Turns out that MDPC-x is super expensive, any one know what size they use and if its worth paying the extra for their product?

It is much better than the unbranded stuff you can get, and it isn't that expensive at all compared to the difference in quality.
All you would need to sleeve everything is one of THESE.

I want black and red sleeving, and the euro postage is lots too. As far as I remember it came up to £80 because they only serve in 10 meter strips

£80? how much did you order, you don't need more than 40-50m of small sleeve for a whole system.
+ heat shrink and sata braid ect?
where are you getting all this money
selling old parts, allowance, winning ect.
Why?

How much do you get for allowance. I don't get any. :(
fuse0, how are you finding the 1055T? I'm probably gonna buy one today but people are advising me to get the x4 955 instead. What do you think?

It can overclock to 3.6 on a stock cooler, it's much better than the quad imo, people say it runs games worse, but there isn't a difference.
Its definatly better for photoshop applications ect ect.
With the stock cooler on 100% load it doesn't get any higher than 60 degrees, which is good.
In my opinion there is no reason not to get it, if you have any more questions about it then ask away.
Thanks for the info, just ordered one :)

I... Don't know. On the reviews I read, the 460 wasn't in any comparison tables, so I assumed the 465 had replaced it.
Which 460 card would you recommend?
