Why do I have a yellow triangle with a exclamation mark when I boot up my GSII.
You should know this man. Custom kernels cause that. I also stopped using barnacle wifi tether for a while and used the built in one. Number was then barred.... Back to barnacle!

Just...just stick with stock.
2.3.4 leaked for SGII.

I can't believe the Droid 3 is releasing with a locked bootloader. What was that about supporting modders moto? I sure as hell don't see it.
Yeah I'm pissed about the Droid 3, my article pretty much summarizes my thoughts.

This thing would've been the "redeemer" since all Droid 1 owners are eligible for an upgrade this coming Saturday morning.
What is the best launcher currently in the Market or non-Market?
LauncherPro.
What is the best launcher currently in the Market or non-Market?
Launcher Pro in my opinion, is the best for a stable, light weight launcher with a great amount of features.
ADW Launcher is similar to Launcher Pro, some people like it more and some people like it less.
GO Launcher EX is a new launcher that I've been using. It has regular updates with new features and has the most content out of all the launchers I've used whilst still being light weight and fast. Personally I prefer to use GO Launcher EX.
Most of the 3D Launchers you may see looming around are usually a battery whore and can drain on your performance.
I just removed ADW Launcher from my CM.
Just took up space, no reason to have it on my phone.
I hate how CM comes only with ADW and doesn't offer the stock launcher, which is a million times faster.

Why? Will my phone be fucked?
Just switched to CM nightly 125.
The screenshot functionality works from the power/reboot/airplane mode menu thing that comes up when you hold the power button down.
It's a button just above power off.
Looks like nothing important's coming in the next nightly, I'll update.
Ok, done updating. I wonder if there's been any changes.

I stand by the stock gingerbread launcher.

You don't know what you're doing and you're either incapable of learning or are too lazy to learn. You asked a question that you should have known the answer to before flashing.

All I did was rooting.
Pushing to get a Droid 3. Have to buy it off contract, so I'm trading in my Thunderbolt to Verizon for a $200 credit.
All I did was rooting.
Obviously you used CF-root then. That isn't just rooting. That's a custom kernel. Just rooting the device using an exploit won't cause the yellow triangle at boot. Oh P.S. your warranty is gone.
A few Droid X owners have reported that tethering is now free after an OTA update. I'm guessing it's because of the new tiered data plans. You're already paying for the bandwidth; that extra $20 fee is money for nothing.
All I need to do now is to unroot using superoneclick then?
Unrooting it won't help your warranty because they will know how many times you've flashed the custom kernel.
All I need to do now is to unroot using superoneclick then?
Just flash a stock kernel and the yellow triangle will go away, but it's still possible to check if (and how often) you flashed a custom kernel.
God damn it, Thursday can't come fast enough :(
I hate how long it seems to take for a date to arrive when you're looking forward to it so much...
I'm fucked the. D:
But it comes with carrier apps, so wouldn't the carrier know I flashed a stock rom?
I need a nice backcover for my Galaxy S. Any suggestions?

Solvable with a jig cable.
gah. so i got an htc thunderbolt the other day, and i did all the fancy shit to help the battery (lower brightness, stop syncing, turn off feedback) and it was down to maybe 50% and it died in four hours on idle. what do?

settings>about phone>battery usage (or something similar)
Tell us what you see, my guess it's auto-sync or an unstable internet-connection that's drained your battery. Or maybe it's completely normal, HTC aren't exactly good at making battery-efficient roms. A stock HTC Desire can go for about 6-8 hours, but with a good custom rom it can easily go for 15.

My HTC Legend goes for about 60 hours or something.

Holy crap!
I've managed to get ~48 hours with Oxygen, but 60 hours is amazing. Got any tips that could apply to all phones to share?
