It's pretty rare, but on some devices corrupted databases download after synchronization, which make ALL the apps forseclose after launching
Hey guys, quick question. There was a program some one linked here a while back that was not the android sdk. However, it was a similar program used for android development. I think. Maybe I'm hallucinating, but if such a program exists could some one link it for me?
A while ago i flashed a vodoo ROM to my SGS i am on 2.2.1. now i want to upgrade but I remember the FAQ. telling me to revert something before flashing a newrom and I forgot what it was :(
[editline]21st September 2011[/editline]
Ok I have Clockwork Recovery Mod v 2.5.1.3 with Vodoo lagfix and the Vodoo-Version of Samsung Stock 2.2.1 for the SGS.
Does anyone see any problems?

Can I just flash the gingerbread Kernel out of CWM and the ROM later?
Just make sure your bootloaders are correct. Be very careful to not corrupt bootloaders, if that happens you will need to get someone to disassemble it down to the SoC board and force-flash the bootloaders.

Funny, I'm on 2.3.5 too. :v:
Well, my problem is that the DHD Sense 3.0 leak is buggy as fuck but whatever man.

What makes me rage is when T-Mobile gets 18 Mbps during low load times on HSPA+, and meanwhile AT&T is capped the fuck out.

Probably won't look anything like the real one.
That just looks like a really shitty version of GO Launcher EX

this is what happens when your network breaks mobile internet. Also for those of you on TW I recommend UCing down to 800Hz. There is no slow down.

After we've became certain that the HTC Holiday will reach the markets as the HTC Raider, the Taiwanese manufacturer officially announced the HTC Raider 4G coming to South Korea's SK Telecom.
Before it's possible U.S. availability, the Raider 4G will be first available in South Korea, packing a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB Internal Storage, 4.5-inch qHD 540 x 960 display, eight-megapixel camera with auto-focus and dual LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, 1.3-megapixel front facing webcam, LTE capable radio, WiFI b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0 on top of it, and a 1,620mAh battery. AND IT LOOKS FUCKING COOL
Why do I get so many force closes and reboots whenever I install a Cyanogenmod 7 nightly build. Any ideas how to fix it? I've tried reflashing and fixing permissions
Anybody know any good free clocks? I have simiclock but I'm looking for one of those enormous alltext clocks, with transparency and so on, and BW costs money and I haven't set up a card yet.

Simiclock is good. Oh, TYPOCLOCK is the best.

I looked at typoclock, now call me a retard but I could not find a widget to put on my homescreen
All I found was the app, that opened the clock for me

What? It works for me
Check if it's installed on the SD card, widgets don't work from SD.
New Samsung phone coming, SHV-E120L (will probably be named soon).
Brothers from another mobile mother, or just a case of copycat syndrome? We'll let you be the judge, but from the looks of this latest leak, Samsung's SHV-E120L could be sharing some of the LG LU6200's special spec sauce. Outed over on Cetizen and iNews24, the full breakdown of the device's innards point to a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 HD display, 2 megapixel front-facing / 8 megapixel rear camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC. We've seen conflicting reports as to the exact version of Gingerbread that'll ship on the phone, with Android 2.3.5 in the running. As for the handset's radios, its purported MDM9600 Gobi chipset indicates tri-mode LTE, HSPA and CDMA compatibility. Sammy's super-sized smartphone could hit South Korea later this month, or in early October -- if the passable English in that Google translation can be believed.
4.7" HD is tempting, but not enough to sell my GSII just yet.. not to mention 1.5 Ghz Qualcomm < 1.2 Ghz Eyxnos (from what I've heard).

Same here, but I'll just buy it.
I probably would make sense if it had a more powerful GPU on the chip for the resolution boost
I've been thinking of buying an Android phone, so now I'm wondering, which is the best < 300€ phone?
Still looking for new lockscreens. Simply Lockscreen (or something like this) looked pretty rap and was buggy like mad.
Any good ones?

Nexus S. At least last time I checked it was 250€
Nexus S. At least last time I checked it was 250€
Yup it's still the best single core phone. It's actually pretty ridiculous that the Nexus S is as smooth as the dual core devices from lg, htc and motorola.
So I reflashed somebody's HTC Hero from 1.5 to 2.1 (it didn't get the update for whatever reason) - HTC Sense is pretty damn consistent, and that's awesome. Now if only they optimized it better...

At least the UI is partially GPU accelerated, without it HTC Sense would crawl.
HTC has made a deal that will see the new Rhyme smartphone and all future Sense 3.5 smartphones get access to 5GB of Dropbox storage for free. Dropbox usually offers only 2GB of storage before charging the user. Using the free storage the phone user will be able to move a photo or other content from the phone to the Dropbox storage cloud and then have the file synced to any other device on the account running the Dropbox software.
It’s not clear at this point if HTC will be updating existing smartphones to Sense 3.5 allowing existing devices can get in on the free cloud storage. HTC Windows Phone devices are not likely to get access to Dropbox either since they have Skydrive access backed in with 25GB of free storage space. Would extra storage space lure you to an HTC Android device?
I saw that earlier. You know what a better solution is? Put 16GB internal like every other manufacturer. I looked and nowhere does HTC appear on blacklists for flash memory providers.

Also if anyone owns an i9003 you may want to check this out. It looks quite interesting.
