If you wanted Sense then why the heck did you buy a Galaxy S II?
Cause you told me the sensation and HTC phones are shit?
Cause you told me the sensation and HTC phones are shit?
...I don't get your logic. No you can't have the best hardware and have HTC sense, this is a fact. But if you valued having Sense so high then you should have just bought a phone with worse hardware and then you would have Sense. Also they aren't "shit". They're just not top tier. I actually like the EVO 3D, it performs well and has good features, but the screen is really bad and it won't fit all my movies on it. [editline]1st October 2011[/editline] Actually to explain a bit better. The screen on the EVO 3D is ok. It's the 3D mode that makes the screen have that awful screen door effect and that's what makes it look really bad. The problem is you're paying a premium to have those 3D features that really suck in the first place.
Wasn't Team Galaxy Sense working on a port?
Wasn't Team Galaxy Sense working on a port?
That's for the original SGS.
Yah. Samsung did it on the SGS because it allows for video out through the headphone jack. I don't think their SGS II has it swapped though because it has the MHL port. Anyway let us know if it works.
Technically you don't have to change the wiring of a standard TRRS jack to enable video out, but it does make it more compatible since you can use one of the commonly available TRRS 3.5mm jack to RCA cables (Either the Sony type or Panasonic, rather than having to buy a manufacturer specific one. Of course making it compatible with the commonly available video out cables means it's no longer compatible with commonly available TRRS jack headsets.
Might be getting my hands back on my old N1. Why can't I hold all these phones?!
im planning to get a galaxy S2 From at&t tomorrow is there a new model to wait for yet or anything before i get it.
im planning to get a galaxy S2 From at&t tomorrow is there a new model to wait for yet or anything before i get it.
Galaxy SII AT&T bros And so far, nope. I'm expecting a GSIII in about 6 months though, using Samsung's new Exynos 1.5GHz dual core and 16MP camera sensor

I really doubt the SGS III with have a 16MP sensor. I don't even see the point because the average consumer is viewing their pictures on a monitor that's 1920x1080 or less. So what's the benefit of having so many megapixels?
Bragging rights, sheer fact that you can say "I have a camera on my phone with a 16mp sensor".
But hopefully people know that amount of MP =! Quality
But hopefully people know that amount of MP =! Quality
At least when its >5 MP. Anything below tends to get gritty. Especially those damn iPhone 2MP cameras.
But hopefully people know that amount of MP =! Quality
Of course. Just not many. And besides, it'd just be worth it to say "my phone has a 16mp camera". Especially considering I've got a digital shooter in my house with a 10.7mp sensor...just as a sign of technological advancement, it's impressive.
Galaxy SII AT&T bros And so far, nope. I'm expecting a GSIII in about 6 months though, using Samsung's new Exynos 1.5GHz dual core and 16MP camera sensor
I'd expect that it's more like either the Nexus Prime international variant chip or something, because the SGS-SGSII leap was from Cortex A8 to A9, so SGSIII should at least be to dual core Cortex A15 at >1.5 GHz. Really, the absolute top end is somewhere between 8-12 MP. Any more and you'll be destroying what little low-light performance these cameras have. Unless you want dSLR size smartphones, any more is just too much.
I still think that SGS 5mp camera is pretty damn good It's enough for me
...I don't get your logic. No you can't have the best hardware and have HTC sense, this is a fact. Basically the heart of their problem right now is that they're in this awkward phase of development where all the phones are still between the last gen and current gen, because Qualcomm decided not to make something competitive with Cortex A9 now and a decent GPU and HTC didn't go with another SoC maker to compensate, screen tech on the LCD side for phones suddenly took off like a rocket and HTC hasn't been able to put new tech in their phones yet, they haven't been able to really put better screens that compete with SAMOLED+ into their phones yet, they haven't put in good enough amounts of internal storage either. So basically while it's completely possible that HTC Sense could get a project to be ported to the SGSII, you can't port decent hardware to HTC phones yourself. Touchwiz 4 definitely isn't the UI TW 3 was, but if you want a more Sense-like experience either buy SPB Shell 3D or LauncherPro. Samsung makes a pretty good dialer and contact book out of the box, and their basic apps like the calendar are solid. The inherent problem with porting Sense is that HTC has their fingers in nearly every damn part of their Android builds, so it gets pretty damn hard to change that.
I just got a Droid Incredible 2, what are some good brands of screen protectors/cases?
I just got a Droid Incredible 2, what are some good brands of screen protectors/cases?
Screen protectors find a kiosk in a mall that does wet application of them, you'll be much more satisfied with it. Usually they'll sell full-body versions of the protector that keeps the body from getting scratched at all. For cases, Casemate and Otterbox are popular. If you want a balance between carrying a brick and a thin hard plastic case, try to find a case that has some soft material liner and a hard shell.
Now I know that I should not get my PSP back Those graphics are amazing for a phone Gameplay is really good too
Getting a Droid in the mail. Someone compose a 'must-have' app list. [editline]1st October 2011[/editline] Droid 3 btw.

Which one out of these three are the best? Samsung Galaxy S2, HTC Desire HD or HTC Incredible S? Price doesn't matter.
Which one out of these three are the best? Samsung Galaxy S2, HTC Desire HD or HTC Incredible S? Price doesn't matter.
Galaxy S2.
Galaxy S2.
Seems like the best choice according to the ratings.

Speedtest.net seems almost useless and I guess JuiceDefender is obsolete if you have common sense. Rest is pretty good
holy shit 9mm is awesome
I can't find it in the Market, anyone have a link to it?
"This app is incompatible with your ZTE Blade." That's why. :saddowns:
