htc Inspire 4G. Don't know the build. I did these steps:

And I don't think I wiped.
I'm pretty damn sure that you have CWM, so pull the battery. Put it back in. If it immediately starts booting up, pull the battery, hold down the volume down button, push in the battery and then put back on the cover without letting the battery fall out and having the phone shut down. Then let it load random bs, then use the volume keys to select RECOVERY in the options. This time, go to the development section of XDA, then go to Android Revolution HD. Download the Superwipe script there, then connect your phone to the computer and turn on "mount usb storage". Drag and drop that zip file to the phone, eject from the computer, unmount on the phone, then go to install zip or something similar. Install the superwipe zip. It will do a master wipe of your system files and format as ext4. Then repeat the process as you did before, this time installing the CM7 zip, then the google apps zip for android market and gmail/maps/navigation.
It should work this time.

The first boot will ALWAYS take a while, don't freak out if it takes around 3-5 minutes for first boot. The ROM is zipaligning the applications.
Can't find the Android Revolution, can you give me a link?

Works!
Now what can I do with the old shit on my SD card?
Droid Bionic. I wasn't lasting 4 1/2 hours on battery.
I think that's bad.
Got it working! Thanks.
Replace the battery, don't underclock if you are doing so.

Replace the battery?
My battery is working fine so I don't see why that should help.
I don't mean a solution to the random reboots, I need a solution to unlock my sim card. Now it's like a small tablet, useless as a phone
Android OS eating battery is a known 2.3 bug. I don't remember how to fix it, but googling "2.3 battery drain" will probably give good results
The problem seems to be the Samsung kernel, so a vanilla kernel with the GS2 drivers added should fix it, SiyahKernel v1.8 is one.
Got the ICS/Nexus Galaxy bootscreen on my SGSII. Looks pretty damn awesome.
Apparently some stock Ice-Cream Sandwich wallpapers leaked, take it with some salt, they have been scaled down from the 720p size to one usable by current Androids. I liked the looks of some, one is my background now.

I don't seem to have that much trouble with mine. Install Juice Defender and let that run, it'll manage the states of your data, syncing, gps, wireless, etc when it's idling, and turns off data when you're connected to Wifi
Yesss, I solved my pin code issue. I simply disabled it in the security settings and rebooted and it worked.
C:
Also when my phone randomly restarts sometimes, especially when using some flashlight app (TeslaLED is what I use now), is it really just my battery?

It's available in the Exynos Extreme ROM, not sure about the stand alone zip
The Samsung Galaxy SIII has made its first spec filled appearance online and by the looks of it it is going to be another flagship to make Samsung proud. First up is the inclusion of a dual-core 1.8GHz Exynos 4212 processor, backed up with 2GB of RAM. On the back is a 12 megapixel camera which is presumably 1080p capable. The screen is as cutting edge as they get, being 4.6 inches and boasting Super AMOLED Plus HD tech.
Sounds fucking awesome
Sounds fucking awesome
Most likely fake, 4212 runs @ 1.5GHz anyway. 2Gb wouldn't really be needed with ICS and w/e
I wish the new Nexus Prime would be 4.3 inch instead of 4.65 inch.
I don't know about you guys, but personally I feel that anything over 4.3 is going overboard.
It just doesn't feel practical in your pockets.

It'll be the same size, that extra size is there instead of the buttons.
I love my 4.5 inch Infuse. It's really thin and super light, so it fits just fine in my pockets

Horrible reading.

Just use a boot animation importer app or copy and paste it to your bootanimation location thingy.
So is Google abandoning the whole holographic thing? What a shame.
Alright, I disabled a few things last night and battery levels only dropped 20% in 9 hours after no use. This is a major improvement from my last post. I'll be rooting soon, but I don't think I'm ready to take the plunge into ROMs and stuff yet, since this is my first Android phone and I have no real need for it.
Where can I find some good airplane/aircraft wallpapers for my SGS? Google images either gives me ones that are two big, or unrelated ones.

Lots and lots of wallpapers. Not for phones specifically but some cropping does magic
Hey, quick question, why does my keyboard lag right now in the browser?
As long as it's bigger than your phone's resolution the wallpaper is fine. I just copy my pc wallpapers to my phone and use those.
Yep, and this is why I've got around 800 wallpapers to choose from :v:
