Hey, quick question, why does my keyboard lag right now in the browser?
If you are using the stock honeycomb browser, it lags on any input. I'd highly recommend you switch over to Opera Mobile or similar web browser.
Just installed CM7.1 What are some good themes to get?
Sometimes it does on FP, what browser and phone you using?
Im using the strock browser on 2.3. I can see lag even if I restart my phone, so im going to use opera instead. I usually see this lag when im on facepunch.
Facepunch is laggy on phones in general, be it an iphone or android or WP7. Maybe on really high end phones it's better, but it's slow as shit on any phone i've accessed it on.
Wow on opera mobile, I cant even log into facepunch, I try to log it, I get into the redirecting page, then I. End up back into as a guest, like wtf? alright, im having trouble logging into fp, neowin.net right now, when I log it, it redirects to the page, not logged it.. Same with hf... it works on purepwnage.com, edit okay, im using opera mobile which doesnt work, then I used opera mini, now it works. okay, time to uninstall opera mobile.
opera mini works fine for me
Wow on opera mobile, I cant even log into facepunch, I try to log it, I get into the redirecting page, then I. End up back into as a guest, like wtf?
Opera works just fine for me Also I installed CM7.1 like a few hours ago, it's quite good actually
Replace the battery? My battery is working fine so I don't see why that should help. I don't mean a solution to the random reboots, I need a solution to unlock my sim card. Now it's like a small tablet, useless as a phone
The random reboots actually sound like bad ROM, something might be causing a kernel panic or oops. [editline]11th October 2011[/editline] Or an installed app. [editline]11th October 2011[/editline]
Can't find the Android Revolution, can you give me a link? [editline]11th October 2011[/editline] found it [editline]11th October 2011[/editline] Where can I find the google zip? [editline]11th October 2011[/editline] found it [editline]11th October 2011[/editline] rebooting [editline]11th October 2011[/editline] Works! Now what can I do with the old shit on my SD card?
You can delete everything off your SD card. That would be bad if you had anything on it that you wanted to keep though. Delete what you want. If something is seriously needed the file will be set as locked by the system. Facepunch devours RAM and CPU. [editline]11th October 2011[/editline]
It'll be the same size, that extra size is there instead of the buttons.
No, it would be 4.5 inches, with the extra .15 inches going to the bottom. It's not going to be unfathomably huge, but it's not going to be very fluent with a single hand.
opera mobile fails, mini works
CM7.1 User here, I'm wondering if MIUI is worth flashing, I really like it's interface and I want something new for my phone
It's a new UI, and almost completely based off of CM7.
CM7.1 User here, I'm wondering if MIUI is worth flashing, I really like it's interface and I want something new for my phone You can activate the same streaming system "mini" uses from Opera Mobile.
If you are not the fan of those advanced settings in CM7, you should Design is really cool, and you can customize it easily
Installed the newest release candidate of Apex 2.0. Works pretty well, I was procrastinating moving to Gingerbread for a long time. Still needs work, though, a few of the options I really liked from the older Apex are missing.
Just installed CM7.1 What are some good themes to get?
I just use Androidian.
The random reboots actually sound like bad ROM, something might be causing a kernel panic or oops. [editline]11th October 2011[/editline] Or an installed app.
Bad ROM? I'm using the default one, or whatever, just a different launcher. I'm not that into Android yet. Or, what app could it most likely be? I mean what kind of app?
Bad ROM? I'm using the default one, or whatever, just a different launcher. I'm not that into Android yet. Or, what app could it most likely be? I mean what kind of app?
Basically if you Google the problem, reports of other people getting random reboots would suggest that the people who make your phone fucked up with coding it because reboots are a sign of trouble, and even force-closes suggests a ROM might have issues. If you notice an app taking up a lot of resources and freezing a lot, force-closing, watch out for it because that might be the cause.
Well thanks for your help, I'll look into it later

SGSII for $2! Why can't this happen in my town? Fuck, why are there no contracts in Russia...
Fuck, why are there no contracts in Russia...
More or less good. You get the phones themselves cheaper, but your sort of stuck with whatever carrier you have. Poor service? Too bad....unless you pay a $200+ termination fee. At least in the US.

Where can I find a Galaxy S II without a contract that works on T-mobile? I really don't feel like signing up for a shitty contract, but I want fast internet speeds, so the international version is out of the question.
More or less good. You get the phones themselves cheaper
You didn't see phone prices in Russia, we mostly buy phones without contracts, so high-end phones (Iphone,sgs2 etc) cost 1000-1500$ from official retailers [editline]12th October 2011[/editline] Working and fast android for windows [editline]12th October 2011[/editline]
I meant on a contract you get the phones cheaper.
We mostly don't have such things. Only a few providers sell phones with contracts, but mostly you just buy the phone full price
I meant on a contract you get the phones cheaper.
I got my Droid Bionic for $150 with a contract and it's a brand spankin' new phone release. I'd hate to see what it costs in Russia when superstepa says some can reach 1-1.5k off the shelves

A SGSII costs <700$ and a Nexus S <350$ off contract here and they're both free on contract.
Will the Galaxy S II CM7.1 nightlies work on the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch?
