A roommate of mine has an SGS2 with broken glass because she dropped it (just once).
What phone's glass wouldn't break when dropped?
Defy probably.
I thought all of this stuff was treated gorilla glass or something
Any Sprint users having issues with the Galaxy S II dropping cell service, but keeping the 4G service up?

Awesome. I loved Motorola's RAZR series, it was a great design (I still like them). I hope it can live up to the name.
I wonder if it'll be enough to compete with the Galaxy Nexus. This complicates things a bit for me.

Also, the Verizon LTE outage seems to have ended. Wondered why I wasn't getting a signal earlier. Normally get maximum quality in my school, but I only just got 3G today.
so does the bionic have an unlocked bootloader?
I have such a low opinion of Motorola, it's unbelievable..

Speaking of the devil
guys, I'm getting this problem when I copy stuff over onto my MicroSD card on my phone, it says
Error 0x80070057: The parameter is incorrect
I have like 3 gb free and I tried copying it through a USB card adapter, still the prob.
What's the prob??

Well judging by what you've tried, I'd say there's something wrong with your SD-card.
What brand and model is it?

Nope, still locked as of right now. People on XDA and Rootzwiki are working on cracking it around the clock. It needs cracked, bad.
So Moto just lied like that? That's low.

exactly why my next phone will be an HTC phone
So Moto just lied like that? That's low.
I wouldn't say they lied about the Bionic. They did say they would start unlocking phones in Q4. Maybe they might start with the Droid RAZR tomorrow? I would like to see them unlock phones, especially since I "upgraded" from a Droid 1. I never thought this whole bootloader drama would bother me, but it actually does. Once I have confirmation of a Nexus release date on Verizon I'm selling this thing. I want a Nexus just for the fact that it's from Google, supported by Google, and is a developer phone. It's meant to be messed with, which is what I miss.

it came with the phone, well my mom's phone which is a nokia x7.
I feel like copying everything, then formatting it.
Also, it seems that it's only to a specific free space amount like 1gb or a different file in general. i was able to copy over a movie while a different one can't...
My Ascend doesn't want to root for whatever reason
so i finally got myswlf to root my galaxy s2
said and done, i want to load a custom rom
get to recovery mode through rom manager using clockwork but i got that error where theres some verification fault
think i mightve flashed the wrong insecure kernel from the start, would that be it? because i heard somewhere that i needed recovery version 2e (i have 3e)
or do anyone else have any suggestions?

thinking of doing it all over again, a fresh restart
I am looking to buy a new phone because but I do not know what one to go for it is quite confusing considering I have not upgraded my phone for a good 5-6 years. I was looking to go with the Android OS considering I am not a huge fan of apple and their iOS, also their iPhone is quite a bit more then I am willing to pay. I was looking at the Samsung Galaxy S Plus i9001 and the ZTE Blade. Both looks quite promising and the ZTE Blade seems like a bargain(Both my uncles have one and they say it is great for the cheap price)
I am looking for other phone suggestions, so I thought that this would be the best place to turn to :v:

Sounds like it's flash memory is worn out.
Had the same happen to me with a cheap USB flashdrive I used to boot a linux distro from.
It got killed by the swap partition.

Worn out? Lol I got the card a month ago an it's worn out?

Wasn't it used in your moms phone?
Wasn't it used in your moms phone?
yeah, but the phone was also new. My phone and my moms we're obtained on the same day. I swapped the micro SD cards less than a week either.
I think I can go to Nokia and say that the microSD card they provided was failing.
I just got the Droid Bionic. I think I'm going through sone sort of future shock, its my first phone since the original iPhone.

I don't know if this will help, but have you considered getting clockwork mod recovery via flashing a kernel initially?
Are you actually in ClockWorkMod Recovery? It sounds like you're talking about the stock recovery in SGSII, which has signature verification and all this crap that lets you only flash specific things.

Settings application, keyboard/language, go to your keyboard settings and edit the personal dictionary.

I'll see what I can do, I'm on HTC Sense 3.0 though so no promises.

I don't know where the directory is, can you point me the way to go?
I love the size of my HTC Legend, the problem is that it slows down. I wish HTC would release a dual-core version of the legend.
