because fuck if you need 8 megapixels if you're looking at pictures on a phone or facebook. The most logical answer would be that they're improving the sensor quality rather than just beefing up the size. That's what Apple did with the iPhone 4, and its pictures look pretty awesome compared to any 8mp phone cam I've seen.

pretty much what dai said. as long as they manage to improve the quality, the MPx don't matter that much. Although FullHD recording along with "just" 5MPx seems a little odd.

holy crap just tried honeycomb on my moms new galaxy wonder. much inferior phone to my galaxy s but FUCK it was smooth and slick.

I need to upgrade, still on 2.2 but I'm afraid of getting a new bootloader/kernel etc
since my phone is the only internet i have right now.

I still prefer ROMs based on the stock one. I recommend Exynos Extreme.

and i tried pyrocf's suggestion, "Exynos Extreme", but i just got a infinite boot loop

If you had to suggest a Samsung phone, I have only had good experiences with Samsung thus far. And I am not really looking for a 400-500 EUR phone either. Something around 300 EUR or so.

yeah, i googled and saw that... i didnt see the instructions so i thought it was the same procedure as cyonagen :)

Stable one? Works just fine, thing is you have to wipe everything short of the internal sd (I think) before installing.
