this is seriously the worst speaker
I like how there's 8 notifications
Don't like virtual buttons, isn't it technically taking away screen space? And more likely to fall victim to unresponsiveness.
Not having physical navigation buttons is a con for me.
Hopefully you can disable them if your phone has physical buttons (Galaxy Note I'm looking at you).

Haha, yogscast subscription.
Isn't most of this already possible on 2.3?
I do like the idea of an app switcher tho.
The multitasking/appswitcher kind of reminds me of WebOS.
That notification removal looked a little laggy?
speed dial folder only thing that's excited me so far

oh good app switcher
Is this copy and paste stuff actually new? Seems a bit weird as I've had it on my iPhone for ages, what's the deal?

Map. Yahoo.

Fuck yes facial recognition, was hoping for this to come round to phones.
[editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
Lol.
Amazing facial recognition
I don't like the idea of Google having my face. :P
Going to enjoy offline reading, going to be so useful for University related stuff.

That data usage is gonna come in real handy.
[editline]19th October 2011[/editline]
Oh god that data usage feature is absolutely brilliant.
Nice camera and features.
Can anyone list the stuff they have yet seen?
Oh shit the panorama feature.
Automatic upload sounds like a bad idea for people that use their phones on the toilet.
Panorama feature looks a little sketchy at best. Also the automatic upload has been in already, I swear I've heard of people worrying about it but it just uploads to a private album.

Beam is cool but I don't see myself ever using it.
Wasn't expecting Minecraft.
So does that use NFC?
Beam seems pretty nifty, I could see myself using it.
The fucking thing has a barometer of all things, I'm going to be disappointed if it doesn't also come with a coffee maker.

They're not automatically public, if that makes it any better.
The Galaxy Nexus looks fucking awesome. There are no words that can convey how much I want to launch my Spica across the room.
Hopefully it'll be ported to my HD2 soon :v:

Google will release the source code, right?
Hardware-accelerated 2D drawing
All Android-powered devices running Android 4.0 are required to support hardware-accelerated 2D drawing. Developers can take advantage of this to add great UI effects while maintaining optimal performance on high-resolution screens, even on phones. For example, developers can rely on accelerated scaling, rotation, and other 2D operations, as well as accelerated UI components such as TextureView and compositing modes such as filtering, blending, and opacity.

Honestly, the GSII HD LTE has better spec, so there's that.

someone told me release is nov 10 for verizon
As long as it's not ridiculously expensive, I'm definitely sold on upgrading my Nexus One to the Galaxy Nexus, I loved the overall UI in Honeycomb, and Android Beam looks like a very useful application of NFC
