Bah, Swype doesn't have a swedish dictionary :<
I think the Finnish/Swedish/some other dictionaries are copyrighted by Nokia/Samsung and you only get them pre-installed on their phones. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] Or is there not one for Swedish at all?
Well that's just dumb. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] I dunno, I can't find one anyway. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] I updated Cyanogen to 7.1 about an hour ago. Hope this fixes my god damn battery glitch!
Fingerbread needs a new bootloader right? Mayne I just wait until the galaxy s gets ICS. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] fuck typos
so, i have a question i backed up my original rom and i can use that to backup etc etc can i also backup my custom rom im using and have several backups with custom rom along with my original? would be good if it works (and im p sure it does, im just asking you guys to be sure), and that way dont need to load a new rom to go back if i dont like the new one im trying
You can back up any rom and have multiple ones backed up. They're the same type of file that you'd use to flash a new rom onto your phone

its alright i guess [editline]20th October 2011[/editline] thanks guys
For people who have TB Backup free: Let all apps restore from the Market, then restore all data to the phone via TiBu Free. If the first part doesn't happen, you can manually go onto market.android.com and push all of your apps you installed (it keeps the history on your account) and then do the second part. This also ensures you have market links properly done. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] Oh, and the Nexus Prime is just a bit disappointing because it lacks a microSD slot. Either way, everything to me right now isn't quite there, once we get to Cortex A15, we'll talk. [editline]19th October 2011[/editline] http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=840040&page=5442 Apparently ICS system images are out in the wild, if that counts for anything.
Yeah, same here, host the phone router like a LAN.
Doesn't work :( Games say that I am not in a WIFI network
Still having problems with the market on my SGS2. Only 12 out of 80 something apps show up under My Apps so I never get updates. The only way I have found to fix this is to remove the Market update and clear data, but as soon as it updates itself again they vanish. Fucking irritating having to do that every time I want to check for updates.
When installing CM7 on a phone is it normal for it to take a while when going to recovery mode?
Gaaah this damn gapps bug have returned again I want to throw away my phone now
Did anyone see this graph back when it was posted a few days ago? If you haven't, well, you aren't alone in getting butthurt - it caused a lot of Fandroid rage when it was posted. The 1.2 GHz dual-core Galaxy S II got beaten by an 800 MHz single-core iPhone 4. As soon as you recover from your grief, check out this graph: Yeah. That's some improvement. The Nexus S is about even with the iPhone 4, and the new Nexus beats the 4S handily (probably due to its higher clock speed). Also, check this out: Maybe the V8 test is a bit biased because it's made by Google, but... three times the speed of the iPad 2? Bear in mind that the Galaxy Nexus is using the aging SGX540, which is what the iPhone 4 and the Galaxy S used. Oh, and take a look at this lovely quip from the Android Developers site:
Hardware-accelerated 2D drawing All Android-powered devices running Android 4.0 are required to support hardware-accelerated 2D drawing. Developers can take advantage of this to add great UI effects while maintaining optimal performance on high-resolution screens, even on phones. For example, developers can rely on accelerated scaling, rotation, and other 2D operations, as well as accelerated UI components such as TextureView and compositing modes such as filtering, blending, and opacity.
Of course, this will be coming to older phones, either officially or through projects like CyanogenMod. Basically, we've got phones from two years ago that'll be more capable and every bit as smooth and fast as their vaunted 4S. And Apple won't have a response until next summer at the earliest. Yeah, they're fucked.
After first time using Market Doctor in Tbackup (Was using simple data restore before) I can't see most of the apps I have installed in "My Apps" page Is it normal?
Here is something from the creative director of Batman
Wait wait wait wait Android ICS source was released? I wonder when do CM7 and MIUI switch to it

I was hoping that the Galaxy Nexus would be using top of the line hardware, but I guess it's just too much to ask. I've been waiting for a leading device on Verizon since the Droid, which was outclassed within a month of it's release.
Were there any news about the theme engine that was rumored about?
Any news on Sprint? Verizon is just no for me.
Wait wait wait wait Android ICS source was released? I wonder when do CM7 and MIUI switch to it
Just the SDK, not the source yet.
Installed Glitch kernel on my phone I hope I did the right thing
According to Clove, Galaxy Note price is lower than predicted (£495 rather than £559) and is coming out on the 1st of November rather than the 17th. Source is unfortunately The Inquirer.
Wait wait wait wait Android ICS source was released? I wonder when do CM7 and MIUI switch to it
Expect the source to be released to the public a few months after the SDK has been released. Google likes to give those who co-corporates closely with them a head-start with all the Android versions. Somewhere around late December / early February is my vague guess.
Already been tested out by Norwegian IT journalists, and so far, it's supposedly very good. http://blog.dexetra.com/a-day-when-siri-inspired-us-to-create-iris-fo
I plan on getting a new phone around December. What phone do you think is best? (I'm with Verizon Wireless, by the way.)
Will the note be on ICS when it's out?
