Take that back to the store.

Set it to a manual level, also, don't set it that bright either. That helped me a lot. Also look into Juice Defender. Lastly, get Current Widget, place the 1x1 widget on your desktop, and try and get the average mA usage, post results.
Judging by that screen though, you're turning it on a lot. As in, it's on more than it is in your pocket. 8 hours of screen being on and still at 10% ain't too bad. Also, get rid of GPS Status. What the fuck.

I'll get you the mA draw tomorrow after another day of use.
Also, get rid of GPS Status. My nexus had shit battery life too, I dunno why but it was just bad.
Shame I bought a shitty samsung instead of a real android mobile..
bought a samsung galaxy s2 today... anything i should know? loving it so far
bought a samsung galaxy s2 today... anything i should know? loving it so far
Is Tmobile USA getting it?
Oh shit, It's the only cheap ish Android tablet that doesn't look like an iPad rip off.
It's already gone from the Dixons website again. :(
Is Tmobile USA getting it?
...why ask someone from sweden if T-mobile USA is getting it? [editline]13th July 2011[/editline]
Shame I bought a shitty samsung instead of a real android mobile..
I'd like to point out Samsung still has some of the fastest single core and dual core android devices.

Do you know what the internet is?
Apparantely I can't affordably get a new phone until February, until then stuck with the shitty droid 1
Is my Nexus S leaking battery fluid or am I missing something?
I get pretty much the same with my Fascinate.
If anyone here gets the Droid 3 could you PM me and tell me what it's like? I had the Droid 1 and then upgraded for free to Droid 2 (They were out of stock and I was in my military uniform saying I needed it for work, which I did. Got really lucky I guess) and when the D2 broke they didn't want to give me a refurbished one for free so I got the cheapest smartphone, a Droid X and I reallllllly don't like it. I need a keyboard. But sadly, I've heard many BAD things about the Droid 3 and it really turns me off. One thing I heard was the screens horrible. Any help would be appreciated.

I actually don't think the SGS II will end up on t-mobile for a while. We don't have any info about a t-mobile one. Perhaps getting the Sensation is a better choice for t-mobile customers. The latest info says september and the SGSII will be old news by that point. Also making a statement like "Do you know what the internet is" is quite silly. Regardless if it was meant as a joke it's a senseless joke considering the internet is required to post here. Perhaps you should rethink what you put in your posts to make them comical or to make you seem "edgy" [editline]13th July 2011[/editline] Looking at the T-mobile site I see you guys have a pretty limited selection of devices. Perhaps T-mobile isn't the best carrier if you want a healthy selection of devices?
Has anyone else found that battery life is improving with every release of Android?
Sure I could, just haven't seen much. Which is why I asked if anybody heard. I'm not stupid.
Well unfortunately there hasn't been much. If I were you I'd just pick up a Sensation. It's a good mid-high end device and it's actually available.

Yah. Well the only info people have said states it will use a qualcomm dual core, so we can scratch that off the list of correct information. Really there's nothing to suggest it will ever come to the united states. Perhaps more info will be revealed in the coming days.
just got my first android device ever, SGT 10.1 what is that benchmarking tool that shows your device's performance compared to other android devices?

I'm still going down to my Bell store tomorrow to try to get my SGS2. I was told by 3 different employees that the release date was the 14th, with the most recent encounter being on Tuesday. Who knows. Can't hurt to try.

Their employment will be terminated if they sell the device prior to the 21st from what I've heard on hofo. [editline]14th July 2011[/editline] Oh fuck. They all had to be returned due to software issues.
Oh well, at least it's only a week delay. Now I don't have to come home only to hide my new phone from my parents. They should be in France for 2 weeks, lol.
Good/bad news for T-mobile users. T-mobile is increasing the regulatory fee by 20 cents. The good part about this is it could be a way for you all to break your contracts. Now if this is a material change you may want to do an upgrade before august 15th and then break your contract. Free phone for the win?
