Is there a good (preferably free) Locker that allows for a pattern passcode without having to go through two lockscreens?
Why don't you just use the stock pattern?

My phone battery have killed itself for 4 hours in standby mode
I think I have officially killed my battery

Recalibrate, then after recalibration procedure posted above, report results.
Transformer users, how is the movie playback doing on your device?
My phone and netbook lag even with 720p videos, and I am intending to buy a tablet mainly for movies
I will try to wait for Prime, but I still depend on my parents money and they probably won't buy me something that expensive

Not sure if I am late, but shadowgun is now out
Not sure if I am late, but shadowgun is now out
What is that? Never heard of it and it looks amazing
Any chances it would work on SGSI?

First you reboot my phone when I have 80% of shadowgun downloaded
Then you dissapear from my homescreen
Very funny
Just played for an hour straight
Great game
Correct me if I am wrong
Liniux based OSes don't need to install most of the drivers because they are installed straight in the linux kernel
Android uses Linux kernel
Does that mean that most of USB devices will work fine with android?

USB drives, Mice, Keyboard, Game controllers work. Everything else I would think can't get enough power from the phone.
To those who have seemingly completely eliminated any possible source of battery drain but their sleep battery drain is around 20% in 7-8 hours, my suggestion is to fully charge the phone. No, not until it says, 100%, until in spare parts or Battery Calibration ( https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration ) states that the voltage is as high as your battery is rated for (around 4.2-4.3), you can also use CurrentWidget or something similar to see if it can show your battery charge rate, and once it hits 0 mA and you restart, then let it reach 0 mA again to make sure you've actually charged it, wipe the battery stats with the phone plugged in, reboot the phone, then and ONLY THEN, unplug the phone, make sure it's fully drained (Run it down until the phone is force-shutoff before the battery dies), then recharge your phone, and feel free to recharge it whenever you want, because hopefully the battery stats file is properly done and it doesn't show an inaccurate battery gauge/inaccurate drain.
You won't be needing to do this on newer phones like the S2 due to their battery controller.
Is HTC Desire S any good? I've heard it has problems with signal strength and Wi-Fi.

Yeah, linux has most basic drivers "built in"
Re-stocking my SGSII because something went tits up!
[editline]27th October 2011[/editline]
Disaster avoided, my SGSII now thinks it's an SGSII again. Something done goof'd up the build.prop before.

Depends on what phone you have to replace the Nexus S. If it's worse than the Nexus S all those deals suck. The 3GS and X6 are much worse than the Nexus S and do you really want a PS3?
No phone :/ I just bought this phone a month ago
Ill wait till i get a laptop offer
I want new android phone because my slow-ass Wildfire is driving me nuts, any suggestions? I dont have much money, ZTE Blade isn't for me (no network operators have it in their offer, instead they give shit).

You're a fool for preferring motorola over anything (in android terms)
You're a fool for preferring motorola over anything (in android terms)
but why is this
but why is this
Because he likes HTC over everything.
The Galaxy Note world tour event in London will start in 15 minutes, you can watch it on their uStream.
but why is this
Because they still have unlocked bootloaders, then lied about unlocking them which is extra bad considering their own UI is really shit so you'd want to root and change to something else.
And fairly shit phones in general, at least for the price.
However saying that, the DEFY is quite good if your short on cash, I guess
Because he likes HTC over everything.
Sorry, what?
Because he likes HTC over everything.
That's why he has a Galaxy SII :downs:
