Shitty applause, the staple of the British people.

Cool, Nexus event as well.
Oh shit we're getting the Galaxy Nexus now?
Galaxy Nexus????????????
Nah, the note. :v:
However saying that, the DEFY is quite good if your short on cash, I guess
No, the Nexus S costs only like 10€ more and I'd even prefer the much cheaper ZTE Skate over the Defy. Bigger screen, more open and I think even a bigger community.
[editline]27th October 2011[/editline]
Hot damn! The Note is cheaper than what I bought my SGSII for. I wish I could trade it in. :(
Whaaat, Galaxy Note only in White and Dark Blue. Where's my black? D:
How much is the galaxy note?
That lady has a really squeaky voice...
How much is the galaxy note?
£495 excluding VAT. So probably $500-600 when it hits your shores.

UK 2nd November fuck yeah, on my network as well! Time to sweet talk them into giving me a good contract.
Oh God, I hope they'll announce a launch date for the Galaxy Nexus now...
Oh God, I hope they'll announce a launch date for the Galaxy Nexus now...
Around 17th of november, in Norway at least.
Yeah, 17th.

Take with a pinch of salt.

Take with a pinch of salt.
More bullshit rumors. I'll believe it when I hear Samsung or Sprint announce it.
So when will Galaxy S II HD LTE (Seriously, what's with the name?) be released? I just want to get a phone with a 720p screen.
To those who have seemingly completely eliminated any possible source of battery drain but their sleep battery drain is around 20% in 7-8 hours, my suggestion is to fully charge the phone. No, not until it says, 100%, until in spare parts or Battery Calibration ( https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration ) states that the voltage is as high as your battery is rated for (around 4.2-4.3), you can also use CurrentWidget or something similar to see if it can show your battery charge rate, and once it hits 0 mA and you restart, then let it reach 0 mA again to make sure you've actually charged it, wipe the battery stats with the phone plugged in, reboot the phone, then and ONLY THEN, unplug the phone, make sure it's fully drained (Run it down until the phone is force-shutoff before the battery dies), then recharge your phone, and feel free to recharge it whenever you want, because hopefully the battery stats file is properly done and it doesn't show an inaccurate battery gauge/inaccurate drain.
alright, thanks!
You won't be needing to do this on newer phones like the S2 due to their battery controller.
alright, thanks lol

My battery life is pretty okay in CM7:
It was better with Galnet though.

is that U.S release too?
Just Europe.
Should be relatively the same elsewhere

Is there anything good coming in the U.S soon?
Nexus comes out in the US a few weeks after the EU.
