Does it only work with Chrome because I've heard rumours of people using it with Firefox?

both use the Chrome to Phone app for Android just like the original Chrome version.
So I flashed an ICS port on my Nexus S.
Holy shit.
It's a completely different, BRILLIANT, revamp of Android. As someone described it before, it's like the Android equivalent of Windows XP to Windows 7 - it's absolutely stunning. Everything is so smooth and animated; it's been a long time coming, but it looks like ICS has brought consistency to Android.

Same here when I tried it on my N1. SDK port is nothing though really! Did yours have GPU Acceleration?
I wish Samsung would release two ICS updates for the Galaxy S2. One with TouchWiz and one pure android. I'd use the pure android one, unroot and never set my eyes on any other ROM.
I better wake up from this dream quickly..

Pretty sure it is: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1313337
Everything runs VERY smoothly. Things open almost instantly - it has the same smoothness of iOS. Google have done a bang-up job on ICS.
I'm currently looking for a smartphone I've found two so far I'm interested in the ZTE Skate and the Google Nexus S, the skate isn't out in France just yet so I'm not sure if I should wait or go with the nexus.
Every single app crashes when I boot the phone and then the phone crashes. I managed to get logcat output:

Tried fixing permissions?
So in order to update my HTC Desire Z from Cyanogenmod 7.0.3 to 7.1.0 I'll have to download THIS zip file, put in in the root of my SD card and then what??
Also do I have to take backups of apps, contacts, etc during the update process?
Tried fixing permissions?
Didn't work. :(
I'll just use this opportunity to try out a new ROM. Exynos Extreme is pretty good, right?

If the price is okay, definitely get the Nexus S. It's so much better than the Skate.

After I installed Kies, I hooked the phone into download mode and plugged it in, and the computer recognized it as a Captivate, but ODIN and Kies still don't detect it.
Start ODIN and then plug in the phone to computer in download mode
If the phone is plugged in before you start ODIN it won't detect it, atleast that's how it's for my phone.
how can it be sluggish and run this

playable but sluggish, it's noticeably better after installing a new ROM

Yeah just make sure you read the instructions, flash the base (3.5) system, let it boot to home then flash 7.2.
Yea, I tried only flashing 7.2 and wiping data myself and it didn't work. For the 3.5 download I got like 10KB/s, but thankfully I found a not-shitty mirror.
I love you Asus.
They are giving us Transformer 1 users ICS <3

Runs perfect on my Transformer using the stock ROM
I am loving Android so far, actually the first thing I did when I got my tablet was dick around in every possible way and then root it and flash a custom ROM.
Also Acer confirmed ICS for the Iconia A500 :v:

I can't root my transformer yet
b70 models have a different sdk :saddowns:

it ran fine on stock unless a lot of apps were running but now on a custom ROM with OC GPU it runs fantastically
So I have an upgrade to burn and today AT&T announced the Galaxy S2 skyrocket and the HTC Vivid.
Not sure whether to get the Exynos GS2 or the HTC Vivid, help with deciding?
Which Galaxy?
Get the good one
Any recommendations for the best multi-protocol IM client? I'm currently using eBuddy but the XMS ads when closing the app and automatic status changes are annoying as fuck.
preferably something that doesn't auto-start on boot, too.
