Good you got CM on it and all, but if I were you, I'd install stock ICS when it rolls out for the Nexus S.
What advantages does CM7 have over the nexus versions of android?

AFAIK it's pretty much stock Android on steroids (performance tweaks, themes and all that stuff)

That's what I was planning, though I think I'm going to wait for it to officially come out. I like the tweaks that I can get done with CM.
What should I use for playing back videos? Is the stock player pretty capable?

AT&T why must you do this to me
you announce it the day after my 30 day return warranty
If you got an SGSII, both are slower in processor speeds.
Well, I rooted my desire z temporarily as a test, now its slow as fuck, any ideas?
I'm trying out SwiftKey and I'm like so amazed by it. Only used it for like an hour. Should I buy it (or get it elsewhere)
I'll consider keeping it after using it for a few weeks and the predictions are pretty damn good.
Well, I rooted my desire z temporarily as a test, now its slow as fuck, any ideas?
Wipe it and flash a new ROM. Always best to start fresh.
If you already did that, being slow as fuck isn't particularly abnormal when you first install a ROM. Just use it for awhile, to see if it improves.
[del]I accidently put a ROM for a different phone on to my phone, a HTC hero/t-mobile g2 and it doesnt seem tto get past the t mobile boot screen thing, is there anything i can do?[/del]

Keep in mind, this doesn't work nearly as well when you actually use it unless you close one eye.

Bought it, looks fairly decent but you need to add an option to crop instead of compressing the chosen image (which looks crap in most cases). Also there's a bug: when selecting a new image I have to first reset to original to make the old one dissapear.

I'm working on both already. They are the two most requested "features" :v: What's really weird is that I noticed the selecting new background bug when testing and fixed it and it worked on my SGSII!

you did that?

What? The app?
Anyway, I decided to release a quick&dirty update to fix the two most common issues (which you mentioned earlier). It should already be out but I think the Market will take some time to update. Originally I planned on releasing them together with the wallpaper scrolling feature, but that would have meant I'd have to rewrite major parts of the code while the bugs were easily fixable in the old code.

the app, but im pretty sure now that youve done it
Oh god oh god Galaxy Note is out tomorrow! Tempted to go to the CPW launch in Central London to check it out.

I got the app, tried it, effect wasn't there. Just looked like the wallpaper was sliding around. Wondered why it looked so great in the vid, realized a camera is the equivalent of recording something with one eye closed. Closed an eye, effect was there.
Makes sense considering using one eye fucks your depth perception.
It works perfectly fine for me without having to close one eye. And no, I'm not a cyclops.
Question: do i need antivirus for my phone?
I have Lookout av and i really don't think I need it. It sucks up a lot of cpu and ram.
nah, you dont
Crap, I ruined all of my microSD cards (except my HD2 one) with WP7, so now I can't flash anything to my Desire without messing up my HD2...

...Can't you just connect it to the PC, do a full format of it to FAT32?
