i went to the apple store the other day
siri doesn't work as well as it does in the commercials and the iPhone 4S is a huge letdown
my Xoom's voice recognition is wayyyy better
Hm, if I charge my phone one night it goes to about 20 - 30% battery, if I then restart it, it goes up to around 60 or so. Listening to music, texting, doing pretty much anything brings the battery down so damn fast it's unbelievable. Sent it in for repairs, no change. Rooted it and installed a custom rom, no change. Wiped battery stats multiple times, no change.
It seems to be slowly destroying the batteries aswell, I have 3 batteries, and I'm using my secound one right now, since the first one I used used to be good, but now it can't hold a charge for shit, and the one I'm using right now is starting to do the same.
I need a new phone.
I went to an iStyle (authorized reseller, we don't have Apple stores in czech rep.) store about a week ago, and all the devices had internet browsers running with samsung.com on them.
The best thing is that all of the device monitors/screens were facing the entrance and everyone walking through the mall could see that.
2 hours later it was all still there.
Any German bro's wanna do a favour?
Galaxy Note for £385, 5th November in-store only. So gutted.

Hey there seems to be lag on th touchscreen of my xperia mini pro. Like when ever i swipe to scroll down, there os lag from when i press down and swipe. There i this sudden jump as im guessing the screen or app responding to the action. I get this lag on apps like quickoffice prp, when using the browser, even when im scrolling through the settings, i see that jump in movement as in sluggist.
What's wrong?
and I know what my phone is and how many hate SE. This is still a decent mid-ranged phone btw

Only in Hamburg. Not even in every Saturn store. That sucks because I live about 9 hours from Hamburg but only 15 minutes from the next Saturn. :(

It's not the phone man, I had that same lag on my S2, gotta tune the touchscreen
So I've got a droid charge.
I've had it for 3 months, and I was usually getting 8-12 hours battery life, which was okay with me.
However, yesterday I got 5 hours. Thinking the battery may have failed, I put in my extra battery.
Today, same problem.
Just got back from the Verizon store, they are going to send me a replacement because I got the warranty, but is this some issue that happens to all Droid Charges?
Just wondering, incase the new phone I get will also have this problem.

It could be the app, but either way, how do you tune the touchscreen? Some apps have this sluggist movement, some don't. But I mean, even when I'm in the Settings, it has this sluggist jump.
Edit: Found this

but i have to root....
anyway to do this without root?

Completely forgot to fix this after I rooted. Thanks.

Hm, it says it's for SGS but I see comments for other devices. I'll try this out and see what happens, then write it here for everyone.
I don't have a lot of money to spend on things like phones, but I've been wanting an Android phone since forever because the one I have right now is just falling apart. Literally.
I've been looking at the Galaxy Ace because it seems like a good phone just slightly above the price I'm looking for, but I have a question. Is it possible to install Flash 10.1 by rooting/OCing or some other way without needing to flash a new ROM into it? If not, is it possible WITH a new ROM, or am I just stuck without Flash if I buy it?
Are there any good games that interact with your music?
Bought a LG Optimus 2X today for cheap, went from a ZTE Blade so the difference is pretty huge. As soon as I opened the box I installed 2.33, do you think I should root/flash it straight away?

probably
I didn't think I'd root or flash my xoom at all but I decided to about 4 days into owning it and it was a pain in the ass to reconfigure everything
Friend bought a zte blade for 500+ with contract. He told me how it was better than my galaxy s 2. Three days later, he broke it

time for passive aggressive "i love my phone :)" facebook post

$500?!
Well, that's worse than $200 with 2 years of contract.
Hey guys, previously, I use my brother's old iPhone 1g. I'm looking to switch, and was going to get a iPhone 4 and stumbled upon a website that let me compared phones. Needless to say, I could easily see the Galaxy S II beat the 4s by a lot.
Now i'm extremely new to the android scene. How does customization and jailbreaking, pirating apps, and etc work?
What's the difference between SGSII i777 or SGSII i9100?
i777 is AT&T WCDMA bands.

Wipe the battery stats in recovery, try another microUSB cable and AC adapter for it, plug it directly into a socket, reinsert the battery when phone is off and charge to full (around 1-1.5 hours after it indicates full charge), then start the phone.
