Is the signal good enough? Sometimes even if you can see it Android won't allow the connection due to the signal quality being utter shit. [editline]4th November 2011[/editline] Samsung phones are something like this: 1. Connect phone to computer, turn phone on into download mode. 2. Flash bootloaders (Usually flashing both bootloaders first then the full OS is best to avoid primitive and secondary bootloader mismatch AKA unfixable brick) 3. Flash OS associated with bootloaders 4. Root OS via kernel swap method or something similar. 5. Flash ROM That's about it for Galaxy S phones and such. A bit different, but I personally figure that both just require learning to do it right.
The hell are you on about? You make everything over-complicated with unessential steps! It's either: 1) Download mode 2) Flash kernel (this roots it and installs CWM) 3) Flash ROM Or 1) Download mode 2) Flash ROM
Holy shit all this ROM shit can get complicated with all these fuckin kernels and basebands n shit... I almost permabricked my phone just trying to get that fucking CRT powerdown sleep animation. I'd just use CM7 but I haven't found a theme for it that doesn't look like shit. Just tried villainROM and it removed the functionality from my return and search buttons on my GS2.
It's on the Android Market...
Can't install it from the Market.
Can't install it from the Market.
That's because your device has an ARMv6 processor. Flash doesn't and will never support that. [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] You can try hacked apks, such as this one: http://localhostr.com/files/KMAVDQC/Adobe_Flah_Player_10.3_for_ARMv6.apk
Why is HTC still making ugly phones that are similar to eachother jesus christ, that bottom bezel is extremely ugly holy shit, can't they base their design on the Nexus 1 or the HD2? Specially the HD2 because hardware buttons are much beter than capacitive ones
How is that ugly? So far, I say they made the best phones. Motorola is shit, the non droid ones looks horrible. And the raider looks amazing. If HTC and Samsung made a phone, it'll be the best android phone.
How is that ugly? So far, I say they made the best phones. Motorola is shit, the non droid ones looks horrible. (especially if you have the 2000mAh Battery with the thicker cover)

SD card 'damaged', have to reformat the whole thing and start again. This happens every fucking 4-5 months and I've already been through about 3 SD cards so I know they aren't physically damaged.
alright alright, the EVO 4G isn't that bad, and the built-in kickstand rocks. also, am I the only one who sortof hates the default android 4 touch buttons? The Samsung Galaxy series made it perfectly simple and beautiful.
You buying counterfeit ones?
Nope, I've tried three brands. I think somehow my phone/ROM keeps corrupting them somehow. This time it happened when I was taking a photo, my phone randomly rebooted and then I got the SD card error.

So I just switched to a different carrier, because I was sick of my mobile internet not working at all. Picked a nice plan, 300 minutes, unlimited SMS/MMS, unlimited internet. [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] WHAT THE FUCK, THEY HAVE A 5 MEGABYTES PER HOUR LIMIT [editline]5th November 2011[/editline] FUCK. So apparently my speed gets limited to 64 kbps once I use more than 5MB of traffic per hour, or to 16kbps when I use more than 70 MB per day...

(HTC phones are infinitely easier to work with when it comes to flashing ROMs. Infinitely.)

Zte Blade or Lenovo LePhone A60? Can I get any advice?
-img snip- Which phone should I get? I hear that the HTC Rezound is getting 4.0 in January.
The Galaxy Nexus has a processor that will most definitely kick the shit out of it clock for clock. 20% clockspeed added to the Snapdragon S3 is required to get similar performance, and even then it isn't really all that great. If the Rezound had a refresh with AH-IPS and Snapdragon S4, I would recommend it over the Galaxy Nexus and maybe even the Galaxy SIII (Yes, S3.) Snapdragon S4 at 1.7 GHz would be a good deal faster than the Cortex A9 quadcores at even 2 GHz. Against Cortex A15 I'm either hearing reports that they are literally neck and neck, or Snapdragon S4 kick the everloving shit out of it. So the question is how much do you value processor speed? If the phone actually had more updates and source code for updates released, it'd be assloads easier. The HD2 has been carried on by the Evo Design 4G and I think the HD7. The Rezound has been based off of the Droid Incredible. They all carry their lineage forward, and I think that's a very smart move on HTC's part.
