If there is not a ICS version of revolver, I am going to rage
You need to visit the website on the card (Or find it somewhere), enter your card number and the security code, then input all of your information (Address, name, phone number, ect) into the site. At least, that's what a friend had to do in order to use prepaid visa cards with Steam. [editline]19th November 2011[/editline] I'm liking Baconreader on my new phone.
Well it is a vanilla prepaid mastercard and the only information is the postal code, ts all of it, there is no name, address, etc.
I have a general unlocking question, but since it's concerning an Android phone I'll post it here. Currently I have a t-mobile family plan SIM card in my cheap-ass phone. I'm looking at the ZTE Blade, as the thread suggests. On eBay there are unlocked phones. My question is this: Can I purchase the unlocked ZTE Blade, pop in the SIM card from the t-mobile family plan, and use all of the features? Mainly I want to know if WiFi will work even though I don't have a 4g contract (the family plan is like 1500 minutes and unlimited text with like, pay-per-MB web). I don't have need for mobile web so I'm trying to avoid tacking on $20 a month to my t-mobile bill.
Yes you can use WiFi without a data plan, and yes you can simply pop in a SIM into an unlocked phone and use it
Got 3.2 on my tab finally. Time to snoop around and see what's new. 2 months until ICS anyway.
Okay man thanks for the quick answer :) [editline]19th November 2011[/editline]
Well it is a vanilla prepaid mastercard and the only information is the postal code, ts all of it, there is no name, address, etc.
I've used a few of them. Most you have to "activate" through the card's website, that's what benjgvps was talking about. You go to the site, enter the card number and the 3-digit code on the back, then enter your info that it asks for. If it's like a refillable mastercard then I think you even need your SSN or equivalent, but if it's just a gift card then I don't think so. There are also sometimes restrictions on prepaid credit card giftcards, I know one of them I got had weird shit like no porn or stocks or international shipping costs. Check up on that too :)
I wonder how the ICS ui will look like on a tablet.
I wonder how the ICS ui will look like on a tablet.
It's already been running on a tablet hasn't it?
Similar to honeycomb [editline]19th November 2011[/editline] http://phandroid.com/2011/11/18/android-com-gets-redesigned-easter-egg-discovered/ Don't change Google.
Well I've lost hope in getting ICS this weekend... :( no updates today or last night.
After seeing all these gamepads coming out I decided to build my own. [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/IM9bD.jpg[/IMG_thumb] I think it came out quite well. Amazingly cheap too! [editline]19th November 2011[/editline] Oh wow what a pageking.
Like this... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1353252
I have to try this on my A500, looks great.
Guess I'll have to see if there's any ICS for my Transformer.
I have to try this on my A500, looks great.
I have one of them too. Great device.
So I noticed a dead/faulty pixel on my sony Erricsson Xperia mini pro sk17a night. On the most bottom, right part of the screen of you look at it portrait. This pixel flashes whenever I scroll down webpages nut flickers often even on the home screen. Either that or its really dim. It's just one pix I think. So to fix this I go to my phone service provider to get it fixed right? Since its Rogers and it said they will fix it for free or something. I have not rooted or done anything to void the warranty.
they will tell you that 1 pixel is fine
they will tell you that 1 pixel is fine
Yup. You need a few pixels per square inch.
they will tell you that 1 pixel is fine
As in they won't fix it? Hell, I'll add that the touchscreen lags, then they will fix it...?
As in they won't fix it? Hell, I'll add that the touchscreen lags, then they will fix it...?
thats just because its an xperia mini, its not going to have great performance
What do you guys think Galaxy S II or Galaxy Nexus?
What do you guys think Galaxy S II or Galaxy Nexus?
S II. Nexus has no SD card slot.
What do you guys think Galaxy S II or Galaxy Nexus?
Galaxy Nexus by far, just because it has no SD card it is not a phone-killer
Damn, the warranty stated that two defective pixels are acceptable. So does this mean two pixels will get me the repair or two pixels are fine as in no repair required?
Damn, the warranty stated that two defective pixels are acceptable. So does this mean two pixels will get me the repair or two pixels are fine as in no repair required?
You would probably need 3
Well I'm not sure if it is 1 or 4 since it is kinda difficult to see. I think it is 1 but it could be 4...
Galaxy Nexus by far, just because it has no SD card it is not a phone-killer
Its personal preference. The sgs has better specs but nexus has better screen and is a Google device.
