SIRI port for android on the way. http://www.xda-developers.com/android/siri-protocol-cracked-android-port-on-the-way/ See, I fucking told you guys, and no one believed me. :(
Best commercial ever http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8RgFITKTRk
They forgot one very common line: "Oh my god why would you get it when it's all plastic without fragile glass covering unnecessary parts of the phone?!" But still, that's how advertising should be done. also, extended version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X4VHzNEWIqA
Any news on Ice Cream Sandwich for the Samsung Galaxy S2? all i heard was a alpha version is out but it's kinda shitty. haven't heard anything from samsung. [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] oh how convenient http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/254396/20111123/galaxy-s2-ics-better-iphone-4s.htm
Any news on Ice Cream Sandwich for the Samsung Galaxy S2?
According to the XDA thread, there's a closed beta released for a limited ammount of people. also, shitty? ICS source code is out for like a single week, did you expect them to have a stable release out already? Not to mention that without the community you'd have to wait a few months.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1359082 dis best be true!
Is there even anything that can use all of the computing power of a quad-core cellphone CPU?
Well shit. Although I don't quite see a point in fitting all that stuff in a phone, if the battery can't handle it.
also, shitty?
i didn't mean it in a bad way, i just heard simple stuff like bluetooth/wifi and stuff wasn't working at all on it
Well, they have a lot of progress in just 6 days.
They need to stop trying to put quad-core processors in phones and try to give phones better than 10 hours of battery life
I understand quad-core's in tablets, but seems kind of dumb in phones
I understand quad-core's in tablets, but seems kind of dumb in phones
I don't understand it at all. What could you possible need more than 2 cores for in a tablet (in the near future?). Web browsing, playing Angry Birds and reading books doesn't sound like something very demanding.

So the extra grunt would come in handy for more intensive tasks, once there's apps there can replace all those programs. Phones on the other hand don't have a need for a beast of a quad-core, but instead a power efficient dual-core and a much larger battery.
Speaking of the Transformer Prime, you can pre order it if you live in USA or Canada now http://www.asustablets.us/ [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] Imma buy one, replace my netbook with it

The ICS Launcher by Team Syndicate is just a weird-ish wannabe.
Is the SGSII that much better than the Nexus like someone on the previous page said? I have a three year old LG Rumour and anything would be an upgrade at this point, so I want to know if the Nexus is worth waiting for, or if I should just get a SGSII in a few days. On Bell the SGSII would cost me nothing with a plan, the Nexus would be around $150.

As if you will ever edit Videos on your phone, while you have this quad-core tablet to edit on with the larger screen and everything. And a phone is a phone, I would rather have better battery life on my phone than have this quad-core processor, with a graphics processor thats not on par. I will assume that quad-core processors have really good graphics systems. Plus, quad cores on phones will suck up tons of battery, unless you are able to turn of them cores, which I think you can do so with a rooted dual-core phone today.

Not just great graphics, console quality graphics :v:
I wonder what the touchpad on Transformer Prime is like? Hopefully like on my MacBook, where it's a giant button, and you have to actually press it instead of tapping. That's the only touchpad I can use, such a shame that it broke on my laptop :v: [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] Although I'm also waiting for other tablets - apparently there's a 1080p Acer tab coming soon.
Apple probably has patents on oversized mouse buttons

The one on my friend's macbook broke too, and it's not even two years old. Anyway, it doesn't look like the prime has it
Almost makes me regret buying the TF101 and not waiting a couple months instead.
It is so pretty [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] and powerful [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] wow, the Tegra 3 version of shadowgun looks so much better, it actually has explosions and not just shockwaves
jelly because my girlfriend got her Sensation XL tonight... finally rooting my Sensation now to make up for it :v: [editline]23rd November 2011[/editline] Having a little problem with recovery... not asking me if I want to install the update... Image CRC says recovery:0x64183140 if that helps at all...
It's a shame it takes ages to crack .zip passwords. Otherwise, we could be using a very functional ICS build right now. (SGS2 owners)

i still think quad-core phones are shit that wastes battery and gives you bragging rights because seriously, you just don't need that much multithreaded performance in a phone and it's not like I have multitasking problems with my Xoom or anything that destroys the CPU
