why are they locking the zip files in the first place?
'Cause they are closed dev builds. Not public.
I'll check it out
[editline]23rd November 2011[/editline]
It's just a build output file, nothing interesting.
Ah, I see. I'll keep watching that site for potential updates.

Why not use an FTP if they want to keep it private?

I believe they are now. No idea why they didn't before, though, I'm not complaining :v:
[editline]23.11.11[/editline]
If I'm not horribly mistaken, they might be uploading a new build tomorrow.
I got the Skyrocket when it came out, it's quite nice. The only qualm about it is the battery life, which'll be fixed if you get an extended or extra battery. Also JuiceDefender works wonders.
Big screen for my big hands, nice and bright, full of features, etc. I'm not too worried about development for it either (already people on XDA working on them - and iirc a bunch of ICS ROMs are in development).
Bleh. The GPS wasn't working on my phone, and they're going to have to send me an X2 instead of an X. It's technically a better phone, but I don't like the screen and it doesn't have cm7 yet.
Working ICS for the Acer A500: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1356489
Flashing now.
I really really hope that the GS3 either goes with a 1.7 GHz dual core Cortex A15 Exynos or a 1.7 GHz Snapdragon S4. They will blow any cortex A9 out of the water with performance, better power efficiency (managing 2 vs 1 core), and integrated LTE basebands.

Pretty much not working. No gapps.
ICS on the... HTC G1? This is pretty neat, if you ask me! If that old thing can run ICS (Albeit laggy), then there's a good chance for low end phones too!
Jesus, because of this thread I am again shaken and uncertain whether to get the SGS II or the Galaxy Nexus...
Don't know why people get surprised when they find out ICS can run on an old phone. Just because Windows has become such a trashcan for shoving things into, doesn't mean Android has. Android gets faster with each new build, not slower

Having a little problem with recovery... not asking me if I want to install the update...
Image CRC says recovery:0x64183140 if that helps at all...
Guys can no one help me at all with this? Trying to use RECOVERY v5.0.0.8.
Fixed it. It didn't specify in the guide to use the .zip, I'd been unzipping it.

Actually between Vista and 7 the requirements barely changed and the same seems to be happening 7 to 8
Is the HTC Vivid any good for AT&T customers?
Or what about the Galaxy SII?
should i get a galaxy nexus when it comes out for verizon?
You are able to download the dev builds from here: http://aospsgs2.neo-utopia.eu/downloads/
Though, they are all locked with passwords etc.
Wow this HyperSensation ROM is taking fucking ages to boot the first time round. Though it'd take a while but not this long....

It's bootlooping, it won't boot.
It's bootlooping, it won't boot.
So what do I do without fucking it up?
Just flashed ICS on my SGS. Only stock things not working are contact sync and bluetooth.
Ahhhh FUCK. Boot animation is looping again...
Will I have to do a restore, got it backed up on CWM, or could deleting the cache work? Rebooted several times to no avail.
anyone know how to disable the search bar on ICS
what the fuck is this ics shit everyone is yapping about?
Really guys can someone just tell me if I need to restore it?!

First try wiping the cache, if it doesn't work then restore.

Davrik cache?
Davrik cache?
You could try, but I don't think it'll fix a boot loop
Well what other cache? the only other one I see in CWM is the cache partition, you mean that?
[editline]24th November 2011[/editline]
Or format /cache ?
