Well what other cache? the only other one I see in CWM is the cache partition, you mean that?
[editline]24th November 2011[/editline]
Or format /cache ?
Holy shit you mentioned wiping the cache yourself
just restore
Ok thanks.
Ok thanks.
Restoring should work, if not, then get another ROM, wipe data and cache (should be in there somewhere, and not format) and flash that one
Cheers man, so I've restored now and am back on Sense, reckon I should give HyperSensation another go?
[editline]24th November 2011[/editline]
Well the only reply to my XDA post just said to clear the davlic cache, that didn't work though...
[editline]24th November 2011[/editline]
Right, restored, reflashed, still didn't work. Removed SD card, formatted, cleared Davlic and fixed permissions and now it works! :D
Dalvik cache?
403
Well duh, I suppose they either removed it or locked it completely for outsiders.
Don't think I even like this ROM now... -_-
Wi-fi keeps cutting out and the USB isn't recognised,
is there an idiot's guide to flashing ICS to my Nexus S 4G because the short step-by-step i keep seeing isn't really any help

It's the same as flashing any other ROM. Just find an indepth flashing guide :)
Is the HTC Vivid any good for AT&T customers?
Or what about the Galaxy SII?
HTC Vivid is basically a few upgrades over the HTC Sensation: LTE, 16 GB internal NAND, and a better camera. In a different package that doesn't have a unibody.
The Galaxy SII Skyrocket is the T-Mobile Galaxy S2 with LTE instead of DC-HSPA+. The AT&T Galaxy S2 (not skyrocket) is the international SGS2 with NFC and 4 capacitive buttons.

If you have a 2 GB plan just go with the SGH-i777, LTE is worthless with a data cap and you'll be sacrificing a lot of processor/GPU speed for your trouble.
How the hell are you guys using 2GB of data a month? It's slow as shit unless you are in a city center round here, I have a 750MB limit and the nearest I got to it was 600MB when I was away from home for a weekend using it as a wi-fi spot for a netbook...

Images and videos add up fast.
I don't usually do that on my data connection, save that kind of stuff for when I've got WiFi. Only really use the data for light browsing of the web, news and other reading stuff and downloading the occasional app.

I watch HD YouTube videos on my daily commute and browse Facepunch. At most I use around three of my six gig allowance.
I use about 3 hours of data per day and only use 200MB/month. Hm.
That video would take ages to load in HD in my town ... and I live in a suburb about 15 minutes from the center of Birmingham, the second city of England..

I have a 500mb cap, I browse facebook everyday, upload about 30pictures a month and use about 300mb.
If you guys download ROMs over your data connection, that will easily push your data cap.
Google Music pretty easily killed my previous month's data caps, but I've now become accustomed to downloading a lot of my music over WiFi when it's available, and saving 3G streaming for the occasional car trip when I'm dying to listen to something
Data usage you say?
Actually between Vista and 7 the requirements barely changed and the same seems to be happening 7 to 8
But windows 7 and 8 make better use of the hardware than vista
[editline]24th November 2011[/editline]
I use like 50 gb of wifi each month, youtube videos, pictures, downloading them youtube videos with tubemate and then deleting them, games I play online (pocket legends usually uses 1MB per 10 minutes so 6mb per hour of grinding. Music streaming, skype video calls, downloading apps, games, updates, syncing, massive IM and emailing, streaming netfkix, watching livestreams, all of that and it's ONLY 50 gb a month. Okay, time to download more.
Well actually, how can you NOT use that much is the real question!
Just flashed ICS on my SGS. Only stock things not working are contact sync and bluetooth.
I want to do this too, but people in the official XDA thread says that it is impossible to get back using Nandroid
Is it true?

Too bad it's your neighbors wifi you are leeching off of? Or did you finally set up your own.
No Black Friday sales on the SGS II so far at any online retailers in Norway...
Crossing my fingers!
Any mention on when ICS is coming for the Galaxy S2?
