There a date for ICS on SGSII yet?
Probably January.
There a date for ICS on SGSII yet?
Are you talking supported by carriers, or custom ROMs?
Any word on ICS for SGS I/Captivate?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1338636
Incredible has ICS, finally. Everything works except hardware acceleration and touch on a very select group of AMOLED users.
Someone wants to but my HD2 for 300$. Pretty nice offer, considering how I bought it for 250$ :v:
Fucking drama filled dev's...ICS is held up for the SGSII because some dumbass leaked the code.
What the fuck. Why the fuck did they stop and not release what they have right now? It makes no fucking sense! There are tons of other devs that could fix the 2-3 things that weren't working yet. They were asking for donations for fucks sake! It's okay if they say "We hit a roadblock/lost interest, here's what we've got so far so someone else can fix it". What they can't do is "Fuck you, I've got your money, kthxbye".

Team Hacksung is still working on it.
Oh man, T-mobile UK is clearing out Atrixes at bargain bucket prices. My upgrade is on the 16/12. Please please please still have stock.
am I not loved?

The latest to be announced is Sharp's Aquos SH-01D, going up for sale with NTT DoCoMo on December 2. The Gingerbread Android falls a little short of superphone status with only a 1GHz dual-core processor, but there's plenty of other high-end hardware to make up for that. The screen is not only autosteroscopic, but has a full 720p resolution and measures in at 4.5 inches. There's also a pretty hefty-sounding 12.1-megapixel rear camera with optical stabilization (a superior choice to trying to do it all in software), as well as the waterproofing that's so common to find on Japanese phones. While the SH-01D is considered a world phone, and you could probably find usable service in most locales, it does appear to be lacking 3G support on 1900MHz, limiting its usefulness a bit. The phone will be available in three color options; no word yet on price.
http://pocketnow.com/android/sharp-aquos-sh-01d-coming-to-japan-with-720p-3d-121-mp-camera Fucking japs
The Japanese make pretty good phones, though some look like shit and they're not available everywhere :(
Anyone from Finland here who knows which one I'm supposed to use from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278 on SGS2? Trying to revert back to all stock after almost bricking my phone

Got my SGS II today! The Tough Case I bought with it makes it the sexiest piece of mobile hardware I've ever had.
So i'm in a debate here. Should I get the HTC Rezound, which has been getting amazing reviews all over, or wait for the Galaxy Nexus. I'm leaning towards the Rezound. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I might just get the Rezound.
rezound looks amazing, too bad we're stuck with the shitsation xe across the pond [editline]26th November 2011[/editline] in any case though beats audio is fucking laughable
chinese knock-off
ah, sorry, I can't read :v: Can anyone find me a galaxy s2 with no contract for as cheap as possible in UK? :v: I would like to use it on giffgaff.
ah, sorry, I can't read :v:
it's actually pretty nice how they managed to copy it so good :v:
Shouldn't it be like Swagsung or Samsing instead of HDC?
How's the Samsung Galaxy Precedent? I have one coming in Monday; anything in particular I should know? (Received it as a gift from my father, so I don't know too much. I only mentioned wanting to buy a Droid, so he did this as a Christmas present.)

Someone wants to but my HD2 for 300$. Pretty nice offer, considering how I bought it for 250$ :v:
Is it a worthy upgrade over the ZTE Blade? I've always liked the look of the HD2.
I wouldn't suggest getting it. Unless you're ready to fuck around with ROMs and bootloaders and shit. [editline]26th November 2011[/editline] I'm thinking of getting the Galaxy Note. What I like about it: Sexy screen I wouldn't have to buy a tablet I will be able to use that hacker's keyboard thing on it - which rules the stylus could be useful too, actually, for some stuff like VNC What I dislike about it: I will lose the stylus All the features the stylus was advertised for are useless because I can't draw and my handwriting is just too terrible. It will be close to impossible to fit it in my pockets... [editline]26th November 2011[/editline] one thing that intrigues me is running it in tablet mode, once ICS hits. All you have to do for that is just put it on 160 DPI. Which is no problem to me, considering how I already run my HD2 on 167 dpi.
I've already played around extensively with my Blade, getting a winmo/android dualboot set up wouldnt bother me.
Well, it will be okay for you then. But keep this in mind: It is showing age. It is losing more and more developers with each Android version. [editline]26th November 2011[/editline] Quoting for the next page, so at least anyone sees my post:
I wouldn't suggest getting it. I would first want to get my hands on one to see how big it is, but I don't think my shitty carrier even has them and I don't know anywhere that would have them.

And you probably won't use the stylus a whole lot when you can use your thumb to tap stuff.
I want ICS on my SGS2 :(
