Lots of apps, phones, tablets and assesories on sale. But wouldn't it be better to buy them. On Christmas break?
I think 2012 is the year of the quad core phones. But If I just keep waiting for technology, I'm never going to get a phone :v:

CM9 on SGSI
CM9 on SGSI
Not for S2? aww
Not for S2? aww
It's not out yet It's just the developer showing that it actually works I'm so happy they are using the ICS launcher and not the ADW launcher (I hate ADW launcher)
On that note, got a SGSII today. Going to do a versus review between it and the GNexus.
It's just the developer
I'm seeing T-Mobile CZ in the notification bar. Sure is good to know someone from my country helps make cyanogenmod so awesome :v:
On that note, got a SGSII today. How does the samsung captivate compare to the sgs2?
We aren't even using the full potential of dual-cores and they are already making quad-cores
I agree. Right now, the max (as of today) for dual-cores is 1.5GHz and by Christmas, that would probably hit 1.7 GHz since the max was 1.2GHz like a few months ago. I think they are making quad-cores as a gimmick, kinda like dual-cores but it actually works. e.g. NOW WITH THE POWERFUL DUAL-CORE PROCESSOR! Next year or something: NOW WITH THE POWERFUL QUAD-CORE PROCESSOR! What phones really need now, including the mid-range phones is more RAM. I mean, the most right now is like 1GB on both tablets and phones, correct me if I'm wrong. If they start stuffing quad-cores into phones and the RAM or graphics is not on par, then there is no point of having a quad-core phone with 512MB of RAM. Of course, only high end phones will have such quad-cores and probably will have 1GB or more of RAM. I dont see Quad-cores on phones any time soon.
How does the samsung captivate compare to the sgs2?
Captivate is pretty much a carrier version of the Galaxy S, so the S2 beats it by miles
they have the rezound and we have the nexus prime
true but the hardware on the rezound is better (faster processor, better camera/build quality)
Has anyone seen any good replacements for "Foreflight" on the Android? They have ForeFlight weather on Android, but it isn't the complete package like ForeFlight for iOS.
true but the hardware on the rezound is better (faster processor, better camera/build quality)
yes but ICS, and well, if we're looking at the hardware, S2 wins at everything except screen, compared to the nexus prime (galaxy nexus if you don't know what I'm talking about)
I've had CM on my tablet for a while, and I just got the galaxy s2 Skyrocket. Should I flash it? Does it work well on phones?
Galaxy Note wins at everything :v: It's just the screen size that's a problem.
Galaxy Note wins at everything :v:
No retractable physical keyboard :colbert:
I've had CM on my tablet for a while, and I just got the galaxy s2 Skyrocket. Should I flash it? Does it work well on phones?
CM usually speeds phones up quite a bit compared to stock software.
One-click Ubuntu installer for the TRansformer!!!!!!! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1364095
CM usually speeds phones up quite a bit compared to stock software.
And improves battery life.
Oh shit, that's nice. Running ubuntu in that with android Equivalent to running backtrack. [editline]26th November 2011[/editline] How is it the same as backtrack? Oh shit, that's nice. Running ubuntu in that with android Equivalent to running backtrack.

rezound looks amazing, too bad we're stuck with the shitsation xe across the pond [editline]26th November 2011[/editline] in any case though beats audio is fucking laughable
whats wrong with the beats audio?
Nothing wrong with it but it isn't worth an extra mention
Beats audio is effectively just a bassy EQ
Eh, beats makes fairly okay headphones, they're just overpriced and made for bass
What's the difference between the S II and the Epic 4G Touch other than the obnoxious name?
The Beats Audio did seem to make a bit of a positive difference with my earphones. It did boost the bass nicely on my Dub/DnB tracks but didn't seem to dampen everything else out in the process, which the standard EQ on my sensation seems to do. On a related note, saw my girlfriends new Sensation XL today, screen is fucking huuuuggee for a phone.
On a related note, saw my girlfriends new Sensation XL today,
that could be a nice pickup line: "Hey, mind if I see your sensation XL?"
