(Maybe) getting my first Android (SK17) for christmas!
(Maybe) getting my first Android (SK17) for christmas!
Spare some money instead, the Xperia Mini Pro just isn't worth that money. An alternative would be the Samsung Galaxy Ace or the ZTE Blade, try getting those instead.

How's it not worth the money? [editline]sthis day[/editline] Also, if it's the screen you're talking about then I'm fine with 3". I'm currently on a 2.3" phone and I can still type in Opera Mini's keyboard without any problem because I have tiny-ass fingers.
800MHz ARMv7
Oh whoops. But wait, I still don't understand. Other than the screen being bigger, how is the Ace superior to the Mini?

Yeah, that's still better than my current phone. The one I'm using right now was released back in 2005, has a blazing fast 312MHz processor with 8mb of internal storage for recording your QCIF@12fps videos! :v:

Root GSII, Y or N?
y
Sold my iPhone today! Now I'm just 2 steps away from [del]starting a communist revo[/del]buying a Galaxy Note!
flashed speedmod so FAST
I'm getting kinda bored of CM, any suggestions of ROMs I should flash? :v:
I don't know what you guys are on about, the ACE is ARMv6. It uses an MSM7227 Would the U8800 be a good phone?
I don't know what you guys are on about, the ACE is ARMv6. It uses an MSM7227 Would the U8800 be a good phone?
Might as well get a ZTE Skate :v: Or, I don't even know if it is ARMv7 [editline]hi[/editline] it isnt
Skate costs more and has the MSM7227 again (so armv6 and Adreno 200). I'm trying to find something better than a £140 acer liquid metal (which has the msm7230, so it's armv7 and has an Adreno 205 instead). [editline]4th December 2011[/editline] FYI: http://www.expansys.com/acer-liquid-metal-205669/
Sounds like something Ignhelper was looking for when he was talking about a phone to get for christmas :v:
Sounds fancy
Sounds fancy
bbbuuuyyy iiittt.
flashed speedmod so FAST
Personally I didn't notice any speed improvement, but OH GOD THE BATTERY! Which version did you flash? 18-test12 here, no issues at all. Considering going to 13 if there's no reported problems in the future days.
same here, but im not seeing any battery improvement :( i think i should do a battery calibration
same here, but im not seeing any battery improvement :( i think i should do a battery calibration
But I thought battery calibrations by deleting the stats file did nothing on the S2 From what I heard, you just have to pull the battery and leave it out for 90+ seconds so the battery level chip thingamajig is completely out of power
woa will do that brb wait, do i have to be on 100%?
it'll take a few days before you can notice battery improvement I think.
Spare some money instead, the Xperia Mini Pro just isn't worth that money. Besides the scren size, the sk17 has better specs than the zte blade and the ace.
so.. is all ICS SGS2 development dead because of lack of drivers right now? Seems like everyone either quit or put the project on hold :suicide:
so.. is all ICS SGS2 development dead because of lack of drivers right now? Seems like everyone either quit or put the project on hold :suicide:
That and dev's bitching at each other, and somebody leaked something or other.
so.. is all ICS SGS2 development dead because of lack of drivers right now? Seems like everyone either quit or put the project on hold :suicide:
Then all the nerds have to jack off to sassibob
So where do I begin if I want to root? Got a 2.3.5 i9100, Baseband: i9100XXKI4, Kernel: 2.6.35.7-I9100WXKI8
so.. is all ICS SGS2 development dead because of lack of drivers right now? Seems like everyone either quit or put the project on hold :suicide:
I find it funny that there's still lots of activity on putting it on most HTC phones.
Which tablet should I buy? Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1? ASUS Eee Pad Transformer TF101? Acer ICONIA Tab A500? The samsung galaxy tab seems to have alot better display then the other 2. So Im not sure.
