Apparently, the dev of Cognition stole the ROM and just added themes to it.

Rogers already had the Nexus S.
Rogers already had the Nexus S.
So did every other carrier. I can walk into a dealer and do a HUG to get the Nexus S on Bell, Telus, Wind, Mobilicity and Rogers. You can't possibly consider it as them having their own good device, because everyone has it. Notice how it reads "on their network" because these devices are exclusive to them.
Perhaps Apple should take the hint HTC threw at them and actually make great devices, instead of just patent trolling and riding on their iFame.
What strikes me is how so generic these patents are. Some of these could be used to practically block sales of any competitor phones. [editline]17th July 2011[/editline] But HTC is in no position to claim that apple should make better devices and stop patent trolling. HTC bought S3 graphics solely to get patents to use in litigation. And their recent offerings have been sub par compared to the competition.
Well if AT&T&T-mobile merge then it won't support any of AT&T's network, it doesn't have the right bands. Obviously it won't work on sprint, Sprint is CDMA.
So there's no point in me getting a phone on T-Mobile since the merge is pretty much definite to happen eventually? (FCC passed it not too long ago, I don't know what the next step is but it's likely to completely go through some time next year) Also I thought AT&T and T-Mobile both use HSPA and that the same phone (particularly the Sensation) would work on both networks? I just wasn't sure about being able to use the same SIM.

Just because AT&T and T-mobile both use HSPA doesn't mean the devices are usable on both networks. It would work on T-mobile's 900 / 1700 / 2100.
IBM is trying to patent patent trolling.
Anyone done battery calibration before? know if its worth it?
Anyone done battery calibration before? know if its worth it?
Yes and Yes You'll probably be quite surprised by the results
IBM is trying to patent patent trolling.
Someone should patent patenting patent trolling. The patent system desperately needs a overhaul. It's drastically slowing pretty much any effort in helping 3rd world countries from surviving hunger and water shortage and developing exiting tech solutions for the 2nd and 1st world countries.
Yes and Yes You'll probably be quite surprised by the results
Glad to hear it, you used NEMA Battery Calibration on the marketplace?

Also were not looking for the best thing out their so where looking for relatively cheap, no more than 200$.

[editline]18th July 2011[/editline] Well anyway. If you want a powerful one with a keyboard get the Droid 3 If you want a thin powerful device get the Droid X2 If you want LTE get the Droid Charge(way overbudget)
Is there a reason why you waited until they killed unlimited data to switch?
Thanks, but no. We always wanted to switch over to Verizon, we barley have signal in our own home.
Thanks, but no. We always wanted to switch over to Verizon, we barley have signal in our own home.
Yah. Well anyway take a look at my suggestions. I'm actually Canadian but basing off reviews and specs they look like your best bets.

But any Tegra 2 device running gingerbread should give some great results in any game released to date.

My phone died today, so I'm looking for a replacement now. Still no official word on a S2 from tmobile in the US though. G2x, Sensation, and galaxy S are what I'm looking at. Anyone have a G2X? It looks really nice. And it's vanilla Android apparently so I can have full control over it right?
Been looking at the HTC ChaCha for a new phone, anyone know how it is?
I was being careless and updated my Desire Z to Gingerbread (update came out yesterday) just before I wanted trying to root and install a custom ROM for the first time. I hope there will be a way to do that stuff in future.
Been looking at the HTC ChaCha for a new phone, anyone know how it is?
It's shit to be honest. I was balancing between that one and a HTC Desire Z. The Desire Z won by a longshot because it's screen was of a actually usable size, and the keyboard could be flipped open&closed instead of being a permanent one. http://www.htc.com/www/product/desirez/overview.html BUT unless you're like me and can't live without a actually physical keyboard, why the hell would you buy the ChaCha?? It's awful at even what it's designed for, and that's being a smartphone for FaceBook addicts.
Been looking at the HTC ChaCha for a new phone, anyone know how it is?
Enjoy wasting your money and end up regretting on a stupid facebook gimmick.

I goddamn want an Android phone. I might get the HTC Sensation. Thoughts?
I goddamn want an Android phone. I might get the HTC Sensation. Thoughts?
If you're gonna buy it for the 3D screen effect, then you're most likely gonna be severely disappointed.
