Just saying. Wait and see.
Meh, okay mid-ranged phone. http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_explorer-4102.php
I like it, so far it's been really responsive and boots up pretty fast too.
because it's not done
they are not done testing it, why would they set a release date and then discover some new massive bug then delay it again?
that's why it was released in the uk a while ago.
because it's not done
I just found out that I'm getting the best deal from the Android Markets 10 cents app deal. Why? I'm using Canadian funds and the US price is also 10 cents, which is 9 cents Canadian. 10p is 15 cents Canadian. Woot!

because it's not done
do you realize how different the handsets are? not to mention the 4g lte

Heh, it's cool how you can have widgets AND apps on the same page.

Well compared to the iPhone boot speeds, anything is better. :v:
Lol, the android Market for Canada, it only has 9 of the 10 apps on the list.

I tried opening the Market, it didn't do anything, it just kept "loading". :suicide:

Never mind, I'm dumb.

I discovered AndSMB (Samba / Windows network share client) and Samba Filesharing, both free. One lets you browse to a network share and download files from it. The other allows you to transfer files to and from your phone without using a USB cable.
Considering I paid full price for PowerAMP last week, it's going to be annoying to see it go on sale.

What are the pros and cons of installing CyanogenMod on a tablet? How would I install it on there? Can I still use the android market? Do I lose all my apps?
Less than 10 more minutes till 10 more apps go get!

I saw an app or a theme or something somewhere that changed all the icons to text and it looked really clean. Any idea on what it's called?
I don't know about an app but I've seen a lot of text icon packs on xda

Well, for the clock it seems you use a widget called clockr.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 but I'm really unhappy.. I switched from an iPhone due to it being a general piece of derp (not capable of what I wanted to do) because the Android phone did what I wanted it to do..
It worked find for a while but now it's starting to become truly glitchy.. Solid colors have stripes in them, apps randomly crash and the phone itself heats up at the top (not the battery).
I took it back to the store one day and the only advice they could give me was to restart the phone from time to time. (I never had to do that with my iPhone).
This machine has also broken one SIM card out of the blue.. I had to get a new one.
My best bet is to get an iPhone 5 when it comes out.
Advice?

Sounds like an important file is corrupted. Try updating your the firmware (or reflashing the newest one if you already updated before it started glitching) and factory reset it.
Or that

Sounds more like a faulty device!
Sounds like you're shit out of luck, just like I was with my first Galaxy S2. Take it back to the store and don't let them talk you out of it by "restarting the device once in a while". Your S2 is faulty for whatever reason, needs a repair or replace. OR try updating your firmware, but I doubt that'll help.
I never restard my second Galaxy S2 and it has no issues at all.
Anyone know why I can't download paid apps from the Market? I'm running a GS2 with CM7 7.1.0
Grabbed an Atrix with multimedia dock/keyboard/mouse. T-mobile had it free on the same £20/mo contract I have. It's a 24month contract but idgaf, so was my last one and my Pulse lasted me the best part of one and three quarter years and it was a hunk of junk. Ordered it to my dad's office back in London because I'm going home on the 17th and thought it might not arrive at my place on time. Turns out it'll arrive this Friday :v:.
