I finally got the update because my Carrier was taking forever. Some nice stuff like panoramic photography, 3d camera and viewer, and some other stuff.

I flashed GingerMOD yesterday. It's by far the best ROM I've tried so far. It has all the advantages of Samsung ROMs and most advantages of AOSP/CM ROMs.

My Atrix should be waiting for me when I get home and I'm probably, unusually, just gonna run rooted stock on it, so I don't lose functionality. Barely any of the ROMs available have Webtop or fingerprint scanner compatibility, plus they're all based on a US version of 2.3 that you can't downgrade from and since 2.3 isn't available in the UK yet, I'd be kinda fucked.

So I can get them dead pixels fixed and that electrostatic noise that still exists after the update but all over the place they say it ll be fixed with the 2.3.4 updates...

Or get a better phone if I complain enough, or get a new Sony Ericsson Xperia mini Pro sk17a.
