I will probably be buying the Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 on Sunday. To afford it I had to sell my Apple iPad 1 WiFi 64GB MB294LL/A A1219 (EMC 2311) iPad1,1 (which I bought in Italy in June of 2010), my High Tech Computer Corporation High Definition Two T8585 Codenamed "Leonardo" (that I bought on Ebay in August of 2011, my Apple iPhone 3G 8GB MB046LL/A A1241 (EMC 2347*) iPhone1,2 (that I bought on the last day of February in 2009, from a carrier Beeline) I plan to use a Kingston microSDHC Class 4 32 GB SDC4/32GB 00 with it. I will download music using Apple iTunes 10.5.1 (42) 64 bit and an Android application named iSyncr for Mac (developed by JRT Studio LLC), which I purchased on 18th of October, after various credit card woes. The music will be encoded in MPEG-2 Audio Layer III. Also I will probably unlock it, then install Clockworkmod Recovery 5, using the method provided by Chainfire. Afterwards I will remove the yellow triangle, using the method provided by (yet again) Chainfire. Then I will proceed to set up my phone. First I will connect to my WiFi network. Then I will type in Google username and password. Then I will download the following applications: Launcher Professional Plus 0.8.6, Dolphin Browser High Definition 7.2.0, Hacker Keyboard 1.27, Smart Keyboard 4.5.0, C for Droid 3.10, the GNU Compiler Collection extra feature for it. After that is done I will use the following Android Debug Bridge commands to modify the "ro.sf.lcd_density" value, which is responsible for the amount of dots per inch that the operating system named Android detects: adb pull /system/build.prop adb remount adb push build.prop /system/build.prop After that is done, I will proceed to enjoy my new Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 which I will probably buy in a Russian electronics store called "I-on"

Yuck, Samsung stock rom. Have fun with your media scanner and Samsung kies
Never needed to use kies, besides I've tweaked this rom.
Samuka, you'd understand if you had a Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro sk17a.
I do. Although I'm not getting it until January :v:
So a bunch of my purchases got refunded/cancelled. Just got this email from google: Can I get a 'fuck yeah'?
What the fuck? How come Google can give out free apps, but developers can't give out free keys to their app (as promos, etc)?!
So yea.. I was playing a bit of asphalt last night. And by a bit i mean 3 hours ish cause I couldn't go to bed. Now there is a slight discoloration of pixels near the top left of my screen that will change color but will be a duller shade. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

SGS2 owners - answer, receive heart:
Important: Did anyone ever find out what causes the power/home button lag (when waking up the device or pressing home to go to the homescreen, it takes a second or two before it reacts)? I remember many people discussing it months ago, but I can't find the threads now to see if there is a solution.

SGS2 owners - answer, receive heart:
Deepsleep. Home button lag: When home button is pressed on stock firmware it waits half a second for a second press for voice functions. [editline]10th December 2011[/editline]
It's the Super AMOLed on the sgs2
Probably got burn in then
SGS2 owners - answer, receive heart:
I never really noticed this. This is going to bother the hell out of me now.
Deepsleep. Home button lag: When home button is pressed on stock firmware it waits half a second for a second press for voice functions.
So the wake up lag is not really fixable (unless I want my battery dying too quick)? .enasnI: I'm sorry :v:
At first I was worrying about Blade's weak hardware, but now I don't think it's bad. Right now listening to music with stock player and writing this on Opera and it's still as smooth as fuck. I love android and never want to go back to the ugly, slow, asshole, old gt-s5600.
So the wake up lag is not really fixable (unless I want my battery dying too quick)? .enasnI: I'm sorry :v:
custom ROMs usually disable the press home 2 times thing, for example my S2 with CheckROM has almost no lag, just the 0.1-0.15 seconds it needs to come out of deep sleep. Burn in isn't a huge problem on the GSII from what I've heard, when I get mine I'll probably send it back to samsung just before the warranty's over so they can replace the screen.

In terms of bought products, this stuff is much worse than Steam sales :o
But in terms of redistributed capital not so much.

Probably a dumb question, but is the leak the stock ICS, or is it ICS with touchwiz ("offical" ROM from Samsung)?
I wonder how they're modifying touchwiz to fit the "ICS-look".
I wonder how they're modifying touchwiz to fit the "ICS-look".
who knows, I don't care if it does come out, then team hacksung can fix their problems and release a beta of CM9, so if touchwiz is awful, then it's AOSP time baby
Probably a dumb question, but is the leak the stock ICS, or is it ICS with touchwiz ("offical" ROM from Samsung)?
It's most definitely TouchWiz based.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=20170538#post20170538 Supposed GS2 ICS Leak coming next week [editline]10th December 2011[/editline]
Holy shit, fastest non-Google update ever?! Actually I don't think the Nexus S has any kind of official leak/beta ICS release yet. It would be insane if Samsung beats Google at updating. Now if only they'd update the SGS to ICS eventually. It would make the SGS the best updated Android yet. Even better than the Nexus One since both were released with 2.1
Holy shit, fastest non-Google update ever?!
Not really that much of a shocker considering how the SGS II is the flagship device of Samsung at the moment, and how many units of the phone has been sold so far only makes it more logical to be out fast with this kind of update.
