So If I really wanted to.. I could change the skin?
For skins and themes, you can do that out of the box

Yep, you can practically change anything

you try skinning and theming touchwiz out of the box
also custom ROMs also have performance tweaks

Change your skin, overclock/underclock or undervolt the CPU, flash a different ROM or kernel (usually gives you better performance and less battery drain).. The posibilities are almost endless.
While I wait eagerly for my Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 to arrive in the mail. What are the benefits of rooting? (Heard it said around alot so just wondering). Some people say its the same as jailbreaking on a iphone/ipod/ipad but I thought android had the 'unknown sources' thing that allowed you to do that?.
You should probably get used to actually using it before rooting. That's my number one tip before rooting. Mess around with it, learn to type well on it and especially learn to show it off like what I did with my Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini Pro SK17a
:v:

I'd recommend just using a bluetooth PS3/Wii controller before trying to buy one of those, because they're quite expensive, at least from what I've seen.
[editline]a[/editline]
Talking about gamepads for droids in general, not that specific one in the video (it might be home-made I think)

What's a really good network carrier? My mom is trying to force me to use my old o2 sim.
I'm aware of giffgaff, what else?
Galaxy Nexus=AMAZING. Got the bootloader unlocked already and will root it in the next hour or so. I missed having a phone with friendly mod capability.

Anyone know if there is a way yo increase the granularity of the volume controls? Right now according to volume control+ there are fifteen volume levels, what if I wanted thirty? On the lowest volume possible I feel like I'm blasting my ears off.

hmm, I might even buy it then, but I also want WidgetLocker and PowerAMP or any other music player with a decent equalizer (I do have DSPManager but I want the one that is on CM, but I also want to keep my current ROM)
what is holding you back from buying them all? everything is cheap as fuck anyways
