The nexus is trash, the same as the s2. Why not microSD card expansion? /bs-ing but really the nexus is pretty good, but I find the lack of the microSD card a bad thing...
They did have their reasons though, namely to pave the way for Android moving forward (moving away from SD expansion), as it allows for one single partition for apps, data and media. Note that I have a HUGE library of music (currently 110Gb), but I'm finding the 16Gb on-board my Galaxy Nexus to be more than enough thanks to Google Music and being able to stream what I want when I want, as well as preload music I know I'll listen to often On the occasion that I want to watch movies on a long trip (which isn't very often), I'll probably end up flashing a new kernel so I can just plug in my 320Gb External HDD [editline]16th December 2011[/editline]
The provider in Holland that offers the cheapest mobile internet (it's also very decent, have had it for 2 years) unfortunately won't offer the Galaxy Nexus. Should I buy one and replace my HTC Desire with it? I'm not sure if 599 euros is worth it, but I'd love a better screen and a 4G ready phone. I've been using my HTC Desire for the past 1,5 years.
All I can say is that I bought my Galaxy Nexus outright as an upgrade for my Nexus One, and the difference was unbelievable, there isn't a single thing that I miss As long as you have the money, and you don't want to switch carriers then I'd say it's worth it. Plus by buying outright you have the option to not be locked into long contracts [editline]16th December 2011[/editline] In response to anybody who says to get the GS2 over the Galaxy Nexus for performance, in terms of real world usage they're both smooth as butter and run everything just as well as each other
Are there any S2 cases with a built in kickstand?
I just got my Galaxy Nexus, aside from the very basics, what should I know? I feel somewhat blind when it comes to Android, as this is my first.
you'll learn everything basically but congrats
Are there any S2 cases with a built in kickstand?
Yes, case-pop. Though it is extremely unnecessary and expensive. I just got a standard case for less than 5 bucks from amazon and it works fine.
So what's your Internet plan, unlimited? Would make sense to stream 100+ gb in music.
So what's your Internet plan, unlimited?
This proves that you are cheap... ... Just like me...
it's the HP touchpad bro about to install Android on it
it's the HP touchpad bro about to install Android on it
I wanted it... But my dad doesn't like eBay
the only problem is that the left side has some raised glass and I can't get the seal to mate
Just ordered my Galaxy Nexus... I'm fucking pumped.
Wow, gta3 requires a 450 mb file download... Shadowgun is like 250,but then again there was this rpg game with 1.8gb...
Installing CM7 on my Touchpad. :v:
What's everyone's opinion on the Razr? It seems like a better nexus
it is fucking amazing i have it
What's everyone's opinion on the Razr? It seems like a better nexus
In theory it's lower clocked and some other stuff, the screen isn't as good and it's locked down to hell.
What's everyone's opinion on the Razr? It seems like a better nexus
It's nice for what it is. Don't expect Moto to unlock the thing at all, sadly. Neat design, only flaw is how wide it is and how you can't take the battery out. But then again it all depends on what you want. For a nice phone get the Razr, for a phone with a crap ton of modding potential get the Nexus. Personal preferences, just go play with them in the store.

The Razr is nicer design, the Galaxy Nexus is a bigger Galaxy S2 design with hardware that beats the Razr in most areas. They're pretty close though, so I wouldn't get too worked up about the hardware differences and focus upon the differences in modding.
Anybody gotten the Galaxy Nexus yet? Is it any good? I've already pre-ordered, but just wondering if there is anything to watch out for.
Anybody gotten the Galaxy Nexus yet? Is it any good? I've already pre-ordered, but just wondering if there is anything to watch out for.
It's a beautiful device in terms of both hardware and software, you won't be disappointed
Is x10i still good or is it outdated? How it compares to Arc?
Is x10i still good or is it outdated? How it compares to Arc?
severely outdated and slow The Arc is not a bad device, but is falling behind the times. The Arc is promised to receive ICS though, whereas the X10 was lucky to get Gingerbread
Just picked up a Galaxy Nexus. It fucking rocks, but wish it had expandable memory... I dunno why it doesn't have a micro SD slot... seems odd that they would leave it out. :/
if I could trade in my S2 for a nexus without any additional money I'd do it, really
Bought my nexus this morning. Really a great phone, I can't see myself regretting it. I would never pay full price for it.. but 300 dollars is not a bad price for one of the top of the line phones.
