Dev support doesn't really bother me.
All I used my Aria for is phone, text, pictures/camera, music, dropbox, web, IM, Skype, and GPS/map.
And well, playing the occasional Pokemon Sapphire and Angry Birds... :v:
But if dev support heavily effects any/all of that, I'd like a new suggestion.
AT&T, low price, 2 year contract. (2 GB data)

I think I'm going with a Galaxy Nexus because of the LTE support, I'd like to invest in the future. I live in a large city in Holland, so it's going to be unrolled here pretty soon.
[b]Edit:[/b] Nevermind, the LTE model will be out later. Whether I choose the Galaxy S2 or Nexus, it will definitely be a worthy upgrade. I'm currently getting a Quadrant score of 1204 en the Galaxy S2 a score of 2800 :o. It also supports HSPA+ as opposed to just HSPA.
Oh fucking hell, why can't I buy shit from the Market properly.
This is like the fourth time I had this dumb shit happen:
I re-add a card to pay for Minecraft Portable which for whatever reason didn't buy normally,
and pay with that card for another app.
Then I get a message that the payment was declined because I'm too poor for a 3 euro app
I check my card, and sure enough, I see that 3 euros for that damn app and a dollar were reserved for no good reason at all.
So that's 5 dollars lost for no fucking reason, and it'll take weeks to get them back.
All I wanted was Mobile Odin :(

Seriously, with the exception of those 10 cent apps, I don't think I ever bought any apps for Android without problems.

Galaxy Nexus downside after one day of use: 3g/4g radios are iffy, I don't get quite as good reception as I did before. LTE utterly rapes this phone with a bright purple dildo bat. Fast as hell, nukes the battery in 5 hours....MAX. My bionic had great battery life for a 4g phone, 7+ hours. I don't really care though, ive been wanting a phone with a dev community as active as my god old Droid 1. Bootloader unlocked, CWM flashed, rooted on day 1. There's 1 custom rom out already with more quickly comming. I should be able to spend 2+ years withis phone, just like my Droid 1.
Oh good lord, my Desire HD just updated.
And everything is sooo pretty now :O

Might just need a radio update. My Eris had several of those issues that were eventually resolved by either the community or HTC themselves.

Yeah, playing Mario 64 on a phone with a touchscreen is so hard. Tablet with a 360 controller fixes that issue. Though playing it on my Wii is pretty fun too. Gotta love the Wii store.

Ya thats what I was thinking. Samsung hasn't been known for making good radios, I hope they would change for making a flagship phone. It really is great aside from those issues, its something I can deal with.

if it doesn't work, please go into 'About Phone' in settings, to 'Status' and check the IMEI written there against the one under the battery

CheckROM (for the S2 at least) has the KitchenPro app, go into it and go to the Modems section, that's what you're looking for I think.
it's down though, so you can get them from [url=http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1131950]here[/url] though make sure they're for the international GS2. you can find newer ones on post 4 or 5
I'd say either KI3, KI4, KH3 (they say it's pretty much the best) or KL1, try them all and see which one is better

ok, so that means it's not anything related to the efs partition thing (not that it could've been, but I'm making sure), so flash a radio out of the ones I suggested, though you can try all of the european ones
