What differs from the S1 and the Nexus S?
Do they have pretty much the same innards?

Read this review on the Sony xperia play.
It's kind of slow, I mean based on specs it's like my phone minus the left and right buttons, the gamepad, and the larger screen.
And if you've been paying attention to the last month or so, you should know what phone I have.

Guess who's updating tomorrow?
Actually, how would I go about updating it with this?
I get 10-15fps in gta3 on my zte blade
God I'm going to throw myself off a cliff one of these days. Does anyone know how I can fix the "We were not able to process your payment" on eBay? I've googled and found a whole shitload of people with this problem, but no solutions that helped me fix it so far. And there's only 4 days left on the $250 Xperia Neo offer.
:suicide:

I'm still waiting on the flashable version because I'm already running a version of ICS and I can't be bothered downgrading to 2.3.6 stock and then upgrading back up. One update is better than 2.
Oh god, no.
That'll be a improvement.
That'll be a improvement.
And improvement? To what?
Mmm, tasty ICS.

Download the zip, rename it to upgrade.zip, move it to the root of your phone's storage, shut down, hold power + volume up, select "recovery" with volume rocker, press power, wait for the little android with a box to appear, hold power then press volume up again, select "install from SD card", select upgrade.zip, install, reboot, be merry.

Scratch that, updating right now!

Nice, since my Wildfire S has the exact same specs, I could expect the same results.
And rebooting.
Screw you Warship.
:c
Now here's a sexy change. The Google search widget is now a thin, transparent bar at the very top of the screen rather than its bulky predecessor. In fact, it creates another line to put app icons on. Smooth Google, smooth.

Is there anyway that the manufacturer can tell if you have rooted your android? (Some are saying it voids the warranty) Ive took a iPod Touch that I had jail broken back in the past and just used recovery to restore it (guess they didn't notice) and was wondering if its the same with android?
If you unlock the bootloader (which on some phones you've gotta do), there's a good chance they'll be able to notice (be it a padlock on the bootloader or an internal switch). If not, a restore will practically wipe all evidence of the root.

They MAY look for a custom recovery.
But if you've returned the recovery to default then no.
A restore will unroot your phone? What?
I've got literally no experience of rooting, so I'm probably mistaken, but wouldn't nuking the OS partition of mods completely (which is what a factory reset does) eradicate the exploit and su?

I think samsung have a counter which goes up each time you flash/root or something which puts a little triangle on the bootlogo
that can be reset though with the right tools
Any word on Cyanogenmod 9 release, a.k.a. ICS ROM?

A phone made just for you!
I still don't get the joke though. What's so bad about the Mini? It's just a downsized Arc/Neo/Ray, and those are perfectly okay mid-range phones.
To any Galaxy S2 owners (Specifically the Sprint version, if that even matters), how's the battery life on it?

I didn't want to say the full device name anymore. Don't want to piss off protocol. The next thing you know it he's at my house. With a baseball bat...
