Android Thread V4 - Got money? Samsung Galaxy S II. No money? ZTE Blade. - Hardware & Software

I'm thinking about switching from my Fascinate to the Droid Incredible 2, any thoughts? I had to send in my Fascinate 3 times now, and I'm just sick of the whole procedure and I just want a phone that works when they send it to me.

Actually I heard on XDA that all four US carriers will be getting the Galaxy S 2, but it's just a matter of [I]when.[/I] Woohoo!

Xda has some brilliant developers, especially in the HD2 section, but most of them can't speak English for shit.

No Droid 3 for me just yet. The local Best Buys don't have them in stock, so getting it off contract is impossible (my Mom got the buyback program for my TB, so I get $350 back for my TB that I can use to bring the price of the D3 down to a more payable $300 as opposed to the standard $650).

Whats the Release date for the Samsung Galaxy 2 in the US (Particuarly AT&T, because i have a contract with them that includes unlimited data)

Basically, within 6 months of purchase, returning the phone will net you 50% of the full retail price; for the TB, that's...$700. 50% of that is $350, which brings the Droid 3's off contract price down from ~$650 to $300, which is obviously much better of an offer. The original reason to buy the Thunderbolt from Best Buy was because at launch, it was there exclusively.

Got CM7 up and running on my SGSII with no bugs so far, going to see if Samsung's apps work on them now like the voice search.

I'd say the battery drain on the SGSII has increased since I installed CM7.

Is there an app to like hook up your phone to your computer and use the phone as a webcam? I used some Mobiola program on my Nokia phone but funny enough they support every platform except Android.
