the music alone on my ipod touch takes up 14gb, add to that apps and pics/videos that I would take using the camera on a phone and 16GB isn't much room, I'd rather not compromise
alright, different sizes suit different needs
yeah I know you were talking about it, but I don't see why 16 gigs is too little for people
my next phone: must have 32gb internal + microSD card expansion hopefully up to 64gb, 32gb is fine. roughly 64gb in total, that's enough for me. my 8gb card right now in my Mini Pro is not enough, not with ShadownGun, GTA3 and some other high end games with massive game files, plus several movies on it. I want TV shows on it too, not enough space... :suicide: I need a 32gb card.

Been stockpiling them since September, just for the Holidays :v:
Merry Christmas!
32gb microSDs are quite cheap now
the cheapest ive seen prior to the holidays is like 50+ dollars, expensive man. Oh yeah, which class should I go for? I would probably go for a high class one so I can copy over them movies and tv shows faster.
Class 10 or higher. And it has this huge ass 1.37gb file pack. Holy hell, that gta3 file pack was bad enough to download... and there goes 2 movies, well i guess it's more fun than 2 movies, i guess

gary I thought you said that you got a galaxy nexus a bunch of pages back [editline]25th December 2011[/editline] also UPS says my phone was delivered yesterday although my cousin says he still hasn't received anything should I be worried?
Got a Galaxy Nexus with an extended battery for Christmas! Much faster than my OG Droid. But, I feel as if it's missing something. Hopefully CM9 can find it.
Parents just agreed to get me an android phone, but there's a catch. We can't get it from AT&T because they'll sign us up for the dataplan ($30/month :( ), and we have a price range of ~$150 with no experience in the android market. It needs to be capable of using AT&T SIM cards, is anyone in the same situation and have some advice on what to buy?

Just get any quadband GSM phone off of Ebay and it should work.
Been looking into Android for a while, only problem is I'm stuck with a prepaid carrier. Virgin Mobile. Anyone have any experience with the LG Optimus V? One of the cheaper phones they carry...
I think 32 is more than enough. Motherfucker never had space issues because I never had to back anything up like Nandroids/Titanium Backup
It's amazing how shitty the carriers in the US are. Really, you'd think the US has the best possible mobile carriers and internet providers, but when you actually check them out you see how terrible they are. I feel sorry for you guys, maybe one day you can get proper carriers like in Europe.
Running CM9 Alpha 2 on my Droid 3 and the MIUI 4.0 preview build on my Galaxy Nexus, life is good.
Merry Christmas! Got a Galaxy S from my parents when I was expecting something like the Orange San Francisco 2. Needless to say, I'm really happy.
Got an S2 gonna miss ICS (S1) but not long to wait, already cyanogen'd

Use it for a few weeks and become more familiar with it first.
