I feel like I'm going to ask the "no shit" question of the day but here we go... My iPhone runs out in a year. Yes, that's a long time but whatever. Around the time my phone contract will run out Google should be putting out a new Nexus phone (they do that in December, right?). Are the Nexus phones worth it? Have they been so far? I know the first one was "Meh, but if you want bleeding edge releases..." and the Galaxy looks God damn spiffy. Just wondering how the trend has been keeping up. And the 32gb of storage on the current one is really enticing.
Nevermind, I got it.

(The Galaxy S was awesome when it was released) The Galaxy Nexus isn't quite as awesome as the SGSII, but still very awesome. They aren't perfect, but you won't be disappointed.
look what i've got :D
Samsung Galaxy Player S2? Maybe eventually when they need faster processors and stuff. [editline]29th December 2011[/editline] At least it won't go like Apple; "A speaker here now, little more space there now, Camera up here now, etc." [editline]29th December 2011[/editline] Now I need a good QR Reader. What do you recommend? [editline]29th December 2011[/editline] Hm. Samsung Apps looks pretty useless. I'll stay on the Android Market.
Barcode scanner by far. Free on android market.
and QR droid is good too
Personally for QR codes I use Google Goggles, it's a very versatile application and works quickly
yep, Goggles is awesome
I was messing around with it, and pressed the home button with the s-pen. there was a HUGE scratch. Turns out the button had a protector on it. Holy shit, that scared me. Also I fooled my biology teacher into thinking that my Note is an E-Reader :v:

In other news, all HTC phones released after September now have a bootloader unlock. Too bad it's still an enormous pain in the ass and absolutely impossible to flash radios, or get s-off to flash boot.img and some other stuff in CWMR.
exactly after 15 days of having my second S2 (I could return the phone within 14 days without questions asked or any problems etc), I noticed the home button looked like it was falling apart. I was SO mad until I noticed that it was the protective foil. :v:

Phone FINALLY shipped. LG Optimus V from Virgin Mobile. Planning on replacing the stock ROM with BACKside, but should I do that immediately, or take some time to get used to the phone first?
IMO, wait some time. Get to know the phone, read up on how to properly flash stuff (and how to fix if you accidentally screw something up).. unless you're already very familiar with all of that. If you are, then go for it.
On an unrelated note - is it possible that a new wifi router causes my battery to die faster? :v:
shouldn't think so, when you have WiFi on your phone doesn't deep sleep so it drains battery as it's on the lowest freq (200mhz)
My LG Optimus 2x just arrived on the U.S.A  Have to wait 10 days until it arrives in Brazil though :v:
I thought it was a note.
Oh yeah, note. But who cares, I threw it into a playground. Cause kids love playing with dummy phones everyone knows that
Also SwiftKey X is getting uninstalled. Worst layout ever, needs to go!
THIS. Removed built-in swype and installed the official beta. Holy shit.

Worst layout ever, needs to go!
Yeah, I lied about the playground part. But I threw the Note away. The dummy phone really was true. I just hadn't noticed it. It felt so real. Besides the screen. The weight especially.
Wonder what's with the lack of 4.0.3 based ROMs for the LTE Nexus. Still eagerly awaiting the next version of ARHD.
