Make note that the iconia uses a TN panel while every other one uses an IPS panel.

Just got my Acer Iconia A500!

Can I make my email, SMS and MMS tones different sounds? This was one thing that WinMo was good at :v:

So I'm looking into getting a Viewsonic gTablet. Any current owners here, and would you recommend it? Naturally I'd load a custom ROM on there. Done it before with a Droid 2 so it can't be much harder.

Is Darky's Rom fine with I9000 2.2.1 ? It only says 2.2 everywhere , so I really want to know that

I just want to install my first custom rom , so this laggy I9000 would go a bit faster

So I have a bit of a problem with my Nexus S. Ever since I flashed NSCollab, it has been addicted to going into H instead of 3G for a lot of the time. 3G connectivity works just fine, and it's nice and fast. But occasionally for no reason (signal is not weak) it will drop to H and my download speeds plummet. It's fucking annoying. I've already visited the diagnostics menu and made sure it was on US band and set on CDMA/GSM (auto) so I'm out of ideas. Maybe the radio the ROM flashed is causing this shit? How could CM7 be having a compatibility issue with Rogers? I'd think it would be more well known, but it isn't. Usually going into airplane mode and out makes it go back to 3G. But still, it's annoying as hell using my phone to tether and suddenly the internet being super slow because it decided to be a faggot and go to H. I have a Nexus S on Rogers in Canada, by the way. As for the robotic voice. It's the voodoo lagfix. There's no point in converting to EXT4 anymore since JVK 2.3.3. Anyone who says otherwise is kidding themselves.
