I would really love to switch to CyanogenMod, but I just can't stand the AOSP camera.

What's wrong with AOSP camera?
I like the AOSP camera except that it buries every advanced option into one awkward submenu. Totally worth it for CM7 though.
What's wrong with AOSP camera?
The quality is just shit on my phone for some reason. I'll try and find some pics to compare. [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] And photos get blurry very often. [editline]5th July 2011[/editline] But the last time I tried was RC2 or so. Only had the basic settings and all. Is there HD recording?
I just got a smart phone. Samsung Gravity smart with tmobile. I'm already amazed at all the things you can do with it with just the apps alone but is there things I don't know? Sorry I'm a noob at smart phones.
My official mesh case for the Galaxy S2 just arrived. Very nice feel to it and it is nice and small also, so it doesn't add much weight or size to the phone - definitely worth getting for a tenner if you fancy having a bit of protection for it. Still undecided on getting a screen protector however, I had an invisibleshield on my old Nokia X6 and it just made the touch screen harder to use and it really attracted a lot of dirt. Any recommendations for decent screen protectors for the S2?
netflix is my favorite app on my nook color its fucking awesome
Is yours rooted?
Rooted + CM7 + 1.2ghz overclock
Rooted + CM7 + 1.2ghz overclock
Cool. My friend got the Galaxy tablet, it's cool and all, but the nook color is just cheaper and more better. It costs less than my ipod touch.
Isn't the Galaxy tab just a oversized galaxy S? And the swiping is very sluggish.
Isn't the Galaxy tab just a oversized galaxy S? And the swiping is very sluggish.
Depends. The tab7 was shit with 2.1. 2.2 made it a little better. And I've used one using samsung's 2.3 update and it's very smooth when swiping. Also you can't really compare the tab7 to the nook color. In terms of hardware they're on completely different fields.
But really, they should just fucking update it to honeycomb.
It doesn't work that way. At the moment honeycomb officially only supports Tegra 2 SoCs.
So, what's the progress on porting iDroid to ipod touch 4g? Also, how does 3D displays work in a phone? Like the LG Optimus 3D and the EVO 3D.
Same as the 3DS I suppose.
Same as the 3DS I suppose.
So they work very poorly.
So they work very poorly.
But how does it look like? EVO 3D is US only. Fucking annoying. Now I can't test it.
So they work very poorly.
You have to get to a certain position when the 3D "locks" into place with your eyes. But when I've used the 3DS I struggled to find these places to make it lock. I think it's hit and miss.
Anyone know If I can view what its like viewing the 3D phones from my computer? Also, lol, samsung ads.
The 3D only really can be seen in person, a camera just sees two videos sources and makes a big blurry mess. Go down to a store they'll let you have a play.
There's no announcement of any 3D phones here.
You can get an idea of what the screens feel like from the 3DS, that's the only experience I've had with them because as far as I'm aware there are no 3D phones here either
Kal-El is the only SoC that supports 2560x1600. Does that mean we'll see Samsung's new 2560x1600 RGBW panel in a Kal-El tablet? I hope so, because that's where my money will be going.
