Aha! Got it working. The Mass Storage notification didn't show up until I plugged it into another USB port.
Time for KG3 2.3.4....

I hope this animation isn't bundled with the rom because they sure as hell didn't make it.
*looks at title*
Well, that sums me up.
Is there anywhere I can pre-order an SGS2 for AT&T? I want to have it in my hands the day it comes out in the US.
this will be the new zte blade [url]http://www.gsmarena.com/zte_skate-3784.php[/url]
Also, why is it that most Android devices have the back button on the right, like this:
[menu] [home] [back] [search]
or
[home] [menu] [back] [search]
It feels unintuitive, I've always like the way Archos puts their softbuttons in this order:
[back] [menu] [home] [search]

Menu Home Back
No need for search button, long press menu can double up as search anyway.

Menu force-toggles the keyboard with Archos devices for some reason, which you can do with back anyway
Any UK readers that would recommend a service provider for a Samsung Galaxy S?

Talkmobile
Just got my Samsung fascinate replaced by a Droid incredible 2, so excited to finally be able to use CM7!
[QUOTE=Koolguy11;31296773]I have in my hands the Samsung sch-i405 (Epic 4G) for verizon. Not out yet, as I am using the demo model. It's pretty nice.[/QUOTE]
Would you say it's worth waiting for over the Droid 3?
Talked to a guy at the T-Mobile store today. T-Mobile USA [B]is[/B] getting the SGSII, but there's no official date yet.
So has anyone heard of the galaxy player or is it vaporware?
I'm getting sick of my ipod touch and itunes.
It's annoying having to delete 50+ stuff each time you flash a new update. Can't you create a list that deletes everything or something. I saw that TitaniumBackup could create an update.zip, something like that maybe?

Is their unlimited really unlimited? Or is it fair use?

Ok, that's fine.
Now I just need to find a nice, well priced smartphone, that I can use with a GiffGaff SIM.

What the hell are you talking about? Do you mean deleting apps?
Oh, apparently forgot to add that word, yea.
[QUOTE=SweFox*;31312689]Oh, apparently forgot to add that word, yea.[/QUOTE]
No I just thought you were having to remove system files or something. That would be ridiculous.
You know you could just wipe data and cache in recovery mode, it'll delete the apps for you.

Nowhere is willing to sell an unlocked Galaxy S II. I tried the whole tied selling approach and the guy said "Well, you bring a lawyer and then I'll sell you it."
:/
Looks like
[url]http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16875176292&Tpk=Galaxy%20S%20II[/url]
might be my best bet. Can anyone confirm if that would work on Rogers?
Also Swefox. You can go into titanium backup and select batch mode. Then scroll down and you can uninstall all user apps.

*facepalm*. I never said they had to sell it unlocked. I said that you can't be forced to buy it with a three year term. You just go to a Bell store or a futureshop or w/e and ask to activate it on a month to month plan.

But when I'm flashing a new update I use the non-wipe version. I don't feel like having to redo my awesome organization with the apps, folders and so on.

Then why did you even bring up having to delete "50 items". No wipe=don't delete anything.

It re-adds the crap that comes with the phone.
