i found it extremely bad
Why?
Why?
boring as fuck
bad gameplay, bad controls
Yeah, that was me. Might as well give it a try. I switched to o2 a week ago anyway for more internet, and this switch looks easier than orange to o2.
I do have another question though: Does the goodie bag take the credit away or does it stay?
When you first get the SIM you'll have to put something that has a value of at least £10 on it. That can either be PAYG credit, or a £10+ goodybag. Goodybags are either purchased directly via a debit or credit card or you can purchase them with PAYG credit. Either way, you'll get the £5 for being referred after you do your first top-up / goodybag purchase.
By the way, a sidetip for leaving o2: say that you're leaving them to join GiffGaff and they'll give you a PAC key just like that, no hassle. o2 own GiffGaff so they lose nothing by migrating you over :V

Porting Authorisation Code
Porting Authorisation Code
More specifically:
Porting Authorisation Code (PAC) is a unique identifier (normally 9 characters long and in the format "ABC123456") used by some mobile network operators to facilitate mobile number portability (MNP). This allows users to retain their mobile telephone number when switching operators.
Telecommunications service is regulated in the UK by Ofcom. On 25 July 2003, Ofcom introduced the General Conditions of Entitlement which apply to all communications networks and service providers in the UK.
Condition 18 requires all providers to provide number portability but only to subscribers of publicly available telephone services who request it. Number portability must be provided as soon as practicable and on reasonable terms to subscribers and bilateral porting arrangements between providers must accord with agreed processes.
1:Your current Service Provider must give you a Porting Authorisation Code (PAC) or a reason why it cannot be issued within 2 working days of your request.
2:Your PAC is valid for a period of 30 calendar days and your request must be submitted to your new Service Provider within that time.
3:Your number can then be transferred anytime between 2 and 32 calendar days from the date your PAC is issued.
If the customer is on a fixed term contract, they will often be expected to pay any outstanding sums owed to the end of the contract before they can port their number. Some mobile phone companies can charge a fee to move your number. This is usually no more than £25. The provider must issue you a PAC within 2 hours of your request even if you have not paid your bill.
I see
Is it worth $150-$250 to upgrade to a Galaxy S II from a Nexus S? Not a literal phone upgrade, just me selling my Nexus S and buying a Galaxy S II online.

For $150 I'd do it.
I was considering purchasing a HTC Desire S, unless anyone can give me some horror stories to dissuade me.
Very good reviews from what I can tell.

Are you buying it outright?

Hm. Well, that's only if I can sell my Nexus S for $499, but someone is selling one on usedvictoria.com unlocked new for $420 so I'm not sure if I could sell mine for $499.
Although, if I could find someone who's on rogers, no-term price is normally $610 and my phone is brand new, so I could maybe even get away with $550 if they are stupid.

No term is $499 or $459 on every carrier. Where did you read it was $610?

It is nothing like LBP at all. There isn't even a fucking level editor for gods sake.

At a Rogers Wireless store. Hm, I'll go check again today because it's right beside my work, maybe I was looking at a different phone but I'm positive it said $608 no-term. wtf
Could anyone recommend me some good headphones for the I9000? I just need it , to be able to listen the music without irritating anyone nearby

Rogers sells no $608 devices.
Got my SGSII, I'm satisfied.
Sadly I couldn't get the SGSII, but LTE more than makes up for it. 24-28Mbps is faster than my home network.

Do you have unlimited LTE data?

Also do you have a thunderbolt or a charge?

Got a HTC Evo 3D for my birthday yesterday. Very fast and awesome phone. I'm new to android though so what are some reccomendations for things to do with it?
I can play riptide on the Nook Color I flashed to CM7. I love this thing!

What's the 3D like?
Probably going to order my Galaxy S2 from e2save tomorrow. Going for the TalkMobile £30/m+£119.99 12 month contract. Anything I should know with regards to TalkMobile or e2save?
What's the 3D like?
I was very impressed by the 3D. It may be a gimmick but taking pictures and video in 3D is a blast to take and watch. It came preloaded with a 3D game and movie and I have yet to watch the movie but the 3D in the game was awesome and vivid. Overall its a really nice feature and the cameras are impressive.
I wish I had a more powerful phone.
Right now I've got my tiny little itsy bitsy Xperia x8.
Man, it's so small.
Extended battery and door came today. The cosmetic difference is so tiny I don't know why they didn't ship it with the better battery in the first place. I need to recalibrate though, it says it's been at 1% for the past half hour :v:
Woot! My HTC Incredible S was just upgraded to 2.3!
