Welcome to the ZTE Blade (Android) master race! :v:
So my HD2 is here, I launched Android on it briefly to put my unlock code in. God damn it, having a massive screen rules. Also it's a bit heavier than my HTC Desire.

I've just helped him install CM7 :D

Brilliant, that will improve his phone quite a bit.
I don't like thin mobile devices. I feel like I'm gonna break them.
I once cut myself on an iPod nano :v:
So my Droid 2 is having keyboard issues (P key doesn't register, space only registers if you push it in the center, etc). I'm covered by warrenty and I'm going to send my phone back. It was rooted.
I have done the following:
SBF Flashed to stock Droid 2
System Reset
Re-Activated Phone via automated hotline
Is there anything else I need to do to hide my tampering, or am I good now?

After pushing the stock image to it, I checked with Root Checker and it said I wasn't rooted, and the directories didn't exist anymore even so I think I'm good there.

After a System Reset? In addition, just because I have an app doesn't mean I knew what I was doing with it.
Going to go post a thread on XDA though. Thanks!

I'll be pissed if Verizon tries to charge me for shipping. I already had to replace the 8gb MicroSD card (though that one might have been my fault... :v: ) - SanDisk even gave me a pre-paid label for it. :3

No return UPS label was in the box. They will be getting a "pleasant" call tomorrow.

Oh that's right, they'll ship you the new phone first won't they. That is actually really nice to not be without a phone for x weeks. Lemme know how your "pleasant" call goes, I might just follow your footsteps. :v:

Apparently all I have to do is shove the phone back in the box, re-tape it and send it off.

And pay for it. :v:
And pay for it. :v:
Actually, there's no return label in the box. T-Mobile are shysters. Or stupid.

I don't follow.
Btw, do you have to call Verizon to get replacements or can you do it through an online thing.

You got insurance with Verizon? You pay monthly for it.

I've got the basic one. Covers phone replacement from it dying. Doesn't cover water damage or anything but my phone hasn't had any water near it so it's good.

They told me that I had to send it in, they wouldn't replace it. That was when I went to the Verizon store in Grand Central in DC while on a trip there. I couldn't show them the phone cause I had it rooted and I didn't want that one to turn sour on me.

Anyhow, since you have it un-rooted just go to the store and talk to them.
Oops. We went to a lot of sites while in DC.
And will try.
Any update on the SG 2 release date for us?
Which carrier? They're all coming out on different dates most likely.
AT&T.
I have a unlimited data plan with them still and i don't wanna lose it :v:

Lucky. Nobody here offers unlimited data here because they know anyone who wants to purchase unlimited data will use a fuckload, especially if tethering is included.
Oh, and is the Nexus S worth rooting/flashing a custom rom on? A rogers employee tried to tell me his friend did it and saw no benefits because apparently "The Rogers Samsung Nexus S has no bloatware and runs perfect."
Except for the fact the stock keyboard is laggy as shit and can take 10-15 seconds to pop up sometimes.
Unlimited data is a godsend.
also for some reason AT&T is godlike in this town, the reception is amazing except in one part where we always pass thats like a 10 foot dead zone.
I like pulling up a black image on my friend's iPhones and then showing them the same black image on my SGS2.
LCD black isn't even close to black lol.
